My college is A grade college which is credited by NAAC. My college is affiliated to Calcutta University. My college is excellent college for me. It's the perfect college. No bad remarks. Good facilities are available.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yeah,the course was quite good enough to focus on research.yeah,the exams are perfect here.each year contains two semesters. As it is a three year course so there are total 6 semesters. Each semester has a project work which carry marks and a theoretical exam which is from the University.
Placement Experience
As I have just completed my 6 months in college. So I don't about job placement. I hope I will get to know all about this things quite soon. But i heard about the vocational students and students of computer applications. Who are called for interview befor their final exam by many companies
College Events
There are many cultural and sports events celebrated in our college. Like - udaan, where all competitions like singing, dancing,quiz,beat boxing, fashion show ( it is a inter College event of Kolkata). Sports events like- ASL ( Asutosh soccer league),APL( Asutosh premiere league)
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are paid yearly.as it is a government college fees are not so high. Most of them can afford it. Arts students fees are less as compared with the science students.Fee structure is as follows- admission fee, tution fee, library fee,lab fee etc
Fees and Financial Aid
Nandan scholarship which is provided by the chief minister of West Bengal students with good marks are qualified for the scholarship. Many more Government scholarshi like kanashri scholarship usually the girls of our college gets that scholarship.
Campus Life
Gender rationbis almost equal. Workshop are done during the cultural events like drama,etc. No there is no discrimination in aspect be it be race, colour, creed,or religion.everyone and eachone is equal everyone as equal rights
Alumni/Alumna
Yeah senior students are much more helpful. They help us in every way possible.And yeah ragging in not supported by anyone. Seniors are always beside us evertime. They guide us in every good way possible.
Admission
As I was interested in studying English honours. So I applied for the course online. Where I was asked my HS marks. So the admission process took place according to the merit list. The person with perfect marks got the admission.
Faculty
The teacher of our college are well qualified and practical.the take good initiative in shaping the students. They are also too strict which the should be. They teaches well. Their style of teaching is very unique.
