A Great Environment for learning and a good city(Lucknow) to take your stress off and chill.the faculty members are not that good its your own capacity and capabilities that makes you what you want to.

Course curriculum is not constent it is changing year by year but the core subjects are some what same. The exam pattern is semester wise in which you have to give 2 Mid semester exam and one semester exam in every semester.

The placement and internships are limited as most of the IT companies are offering job to cs/it/ece students and for other branches there are limited opportunities Stipend are available for M.tech and Phd student which is given by MHRD.

Encore is the mostly celebrated annual cultural event in which many other college students are also participate. Shoruyutsav is the annual sports event in which many other colleges students and teams are facing off the intra and inter College sports event takes off. Apart from these two an annual techical event is also held on the institute. Every branch also conduct there own fest.

The fee structure now is expensive as it was 40000 to 50000 earlier than 2018 but now it gets around 2 times hike and it will cost around 90000 which is expensive for a government engg. College. For economically weaker students it is definitely expensive and only 15000 to 20000 less than what pvt colleges cost.

State government provide scholarship and fee remburisment to almost all the students whose family income is less,expect fee waiver category students. All you need to do to fill the form carefully and wait.

There are so many extracurricular activities like encore which is cultural event and shoruyutsav a sports event apart from that many other fest are organised in the campus these two are mostly celebrated annual events they provide a lot more edge to the students in which they can enhance their skills like acting, dancing, singing, music, and almost all major sports.

Hostel are the best place to live the conditions of pgs and others are not good hostel may be conjusted but you get used to of it also the main advantages of hostel is very good food, wifi and cleaneness.

Alumni and college seniors are very helpful all you need to do to maintain regular contact with them it also helps in your extracurricular activities and also if you want to go for higher studies they will guide you best.

IET LUCKNOW is a government engg college so you have give an entrance exam for admission known as UPSEE it conducts an exam every year in april month based on the rank in the exam you will get admission to state government college or you can get admission in semi gov./pvt college. Also

Faculty are not that good some of them are brilliant but many of them are not you have to maintain yourself according to the time and competition some areas are there which you have to focus which is needed as per your requirement.
