I've been here since 3 years. And slowly getting involved in all the events and all. I'm enjoying a lot here in Pondicherry University. What I never see in my dreams, that's all things are happening in my life. Totally it make my life.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is many departments and all.So Social Science, Humanities and Science department has semester wise education system. And Law department and some othe departments having their own system. In each semester there have been conducting internal and external exam.
Placement Experience
Professional courses has fully placement and other courses has a good placement options. Professional courses has 100% placement.
College Events
Each Departments celebrating many events and all. Each students groups from various states are also celebrating their regional events also. Annual hostel day and all the birth anniversary of few great people are being celebrated hugely. Whole campus is enjoying the celebration of each programs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Even being a Central University, it's increased the fees in all courses. Though it has less and affordable fees for all. As being from a middle class family, it's not affordable for me, and I would like to advise the administration from my side to look the whole side of society.
Fees and Financial Aid
Those students are getting good amount of scholarship from university, who is in rank in class. Students who occupies the rank like 1st to 5th rank in class is getting good amount.
Campus Life
Here I've never experienced gender/religion/sexual issues at all. Here all the students from various religions and never felt like isolation. Pondicherry University has good lab and all. I've met many people who came here for lab purpose from another Universities and institutions.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are good, it's 3 in 1 room. In each room 2 table and 2 cupboard is there. Each room is fully furnished. Newly constructed hostel. Each hostel has separate parking place. Hostel are too safe here. Boys and girls has separate hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yaah, they are too helpful. I asked my senior to help me for entrance and all, they did a lot for me.
Admission
In the month of March last, application form is coming and in April, there will be the entrance test. Then University will publish the entrance result. In the month of June admission process is starting. There is no hardwork to do for admission process and all.
Faculty
For my department, Sociology Department isone of the best department in University. The highest qualification is PhD of all the facilities and guest faculties. And they are too helpful for anytime. I never been feel hesitate to ask help in study purpose.
