Positive and negative also there.but not needed now. It is minor. Coming to positive campus had good recognisation in the nation India. Good faculty, placement are more. Got best education award in the past November think so.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is far better than any other with in the state Telangana. The university got recognised by many national and international education institutes. The students will get practical knowledge.
Placement Experience
Most of students gets placed in the campus it self. Presently 70 to 80 percentage of CSE People are getting placed. 50-60% of ECE and rest of the people getting placed depending upon their department.
College Events
Every their will be different events will be conducted in the campus. This year many people came from outside to see tech fest named "India's biggest rural technical fest".at the same time cultural fest is also celebrated, Batukamma too.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Actually there is no requirement of fee for this course. The people who's income below 200000/- per annum ST/SC should not pay anything, 10000/- per annum people other than SC/ST also no need to pay. These people get scholarship from the government. The people who's income greater than 10000(BC, OC, etc) or 20000(SC/ST) should pay amount nearly 40000/-.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee reimbursement will be there by the government of Telangana. Nearly 100% fee will be paid by government itself. Each student is provided with laptop with out any cost.i.e no need to pay for laptop.
Campus Life
Every year sports are conducted in the campus. The most important games are branch games which attracts many students to come and watch. There is student activity centre which will be used for indoor games. And also a huge ground for cricket, football etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are too good. There is a room for every two students.All the accommodation is provided by university it self. The food is also provided by university. Healthy food will be there.There is a feedback link, after eating feedback is given.
Alumni/Alumna
There is alumni club in the campus. They will bring many social activist to the campus and had a talk. They are much more helping the campus. They will bring passed out students who are well settled and ask them to share their journey and also talk.
Admission
I was in the top 1000 who applied for IIIT-BASAR.Got admitted due to my 10th merit. Student have to apply for IIIT-basar as son as notification gets released. Depending upon their merit, reservation they will get seat. Mostly Government school students will be preferred first.
Faculty
The faculty is good enough to teach. There is a mandatory feedback after completion of each semester on faculty. Most of the faculties graduated from IITs. Some of the faculties did their graduation and post graduation in foreign.
