Remarks
Must spend a week in knowing and interacting with presently studying students before taking admission. Otherwise it's good college for one to get good marks and an average salary. Practical applications might be lacking.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is of GTU which is the University under which this college is operating. From next year this college is going to be affiliated under CVM University so I hope the course structure's level grows up.
Placement Experience
College allows us to go for internship in 7th sem and not before that. Placements are adequate for this amount of students. I'll not say it's phenomenal but it's reputation helps in attracting some of the MNC's in the campus.
College Events
We have national level techfest once a year and several small fests organized by different clubs and societies present in our college. Many students from different colleges from Vadodara, Nadiad and Surat come down here to take part in such events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's somewhat expensive in terms of facilities provided in the campus. We pay 1, 19, 000/- per year. That might be quite expensive for some but Gujarat Government provide scholarship for scholars of 12th standard.
Fees and Financial Aid
College does not offer any type of scholarship or loan, but Gujarat Government provides scholarship of 50000 to Students scoring excellent in their 12th boards. Under MYSY, students may get scholarship of ?50000 per semester.
Campus Life
Labs are adequate, sports facilities is zero. Gender ration is less, student participation is very less, and marks are considered important here. There are several cultural societies and clubs which organize events every 2-3 months.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is very bad in terms of physical condition, services provided, cleanliness, mess food quality, etc. We have to spend 1 year in this hostel compulsory, but most of the students leave this hostel after 1st year. The annual fees of hostel+mess is 45000/-.
Alumni/Alumna
College seniors are helpful and guide you to the way you'll achieve something good. There are several alumni lectures organized by the college and can help freshmen connect to their seniors. Rather than teachers, senior are found more helpful.
Admission
I appeared for GUJCET competitive examination which is compulsory in my state Gujarat. I got my merit rank and then I filled my choice list of college. Then after two rounds of counseling, I got admission in this college in Computer Engineering field.
Faculty
Faculty is quite experience and highly qualified but teaching methodology is a bit old and can be felt. Teachers focus only on theoretical explanations and very minimal amount of practical applications are taught and appreciated.
