Bvm college

college is best in gujarat. one can say it comes in best thouree and now that it has declared autonomy it will go higher in rank only. its best for knowledge and faculties as well as placement. one will have best 4 year of his/her life if they wish to get admission into BVM.

placements are really good compared to other colleges and package is also high for some. most placements happen in branch of IT and Computer as demand of IT is rising but other branches have their fair share too. college does not provide internship but can recommend others to do so though there is no stipend. but one will get industrial experience of working in companies.

BVM participates in lots of events, functions and allows students to go to other colleges and tech fest too. we have our own event called Udaan which lasts thouree day and is lots of fun with dj night and lots of events.

fee structure of GIA students is feasible but for other its expensive, as in GIA we only had to pay 1500 per semester which goes to 100000+ for self financed branches. GIA students need to pay 5000 which includes alumni and registration fees its one time only after that 1500 college fee and 850 exam fee per semester.

many companies as well as government scheme allows students to avail scholarship. local scholarship is also available but amount is small. if one comes from backward class then there are on merit scholarship also available. college gives information about that and also puts notice on every departments notice board.

branch of mechanical is not balanced in gender ratio but other branches are, there is lots of activities and sports. labs are good, most of the instrument works and will give you insight on industrial working. one will see diversity and people from other states as well. economic status of college is good and is funded by lots of entities.

its mandatory for students to stay first year in hostel. there are thouree buildings in hostel each has thouree floors one floor has 20 rooms(eprox) and 3 bathourooms and toilets shared by students between 6-8 rooms. one room has thouree bed, thouree table, thouree chair, thouree desk, fan and two lights and plugs. other facilities include play ground and canteen. its overall good.

college has its own alumni network likes of linkedin where only students and teachers from college is allowed. senior are really helpful and guiding factor as they will tell you what to do and what not to, they even give parties to fresher and vice versa.

In 12th I got good marks which allowed to me get into good courses like mechanical, I choose mechanical cause it was soaring at the time and was told it was evergreen branch. which turned out not to be the case but I still like my field. admission is based on merit from 12th marks and JEE exam, ACPC conducts admission process.

most of the faculties are well knowledgeable and have long experience in their field. although there are new ones too but they are okay. some faculties are strict and punctual so it's hard at some times and scary as well. but overall every faculty knows their stuff and it was good experience to learn from them.
