Pranjal Gupta's Review On Maharana Pratap College Of Technology - [MPCT], Gwalior

Our management is good always thinks of student welfare they usualy call some students from each branches and years to take the feedback of teaches and there way of teaching if students are not satisfied then they can compliant and serious action had been taken toward that teacher. We are also having a compliant box if some ant to compliant any management person he can using that compliant box because compliant box is opened before the chairperson at the last date of ever month.

As i gave IIT,AIEEE,UPTU and MPPET entrance exam but i choose this college through MPPET exam as i scored good marks in MPPET Exam and another reason to choose college in M.P. is that the Engineering fees is also low as compared to U.P. Colleges. Before choosing this college i had inquired about it from some of the student of this college about its faculty and management and also the most important this college is the oldest private Engineering college of Gwalior. From school days i used to stick over computers people usually say me computer worm as i usually work on computer i would like to explorer new thing on computer and also the most important my computer school faculty always helped me and inspired me to Take Computer Science and Engineering Branch.

We have good course structure for engineering student as the course cover almost knowledge of every field that's why an engineer is eligible for most of the jobs as i covers knowledge for all the branches as i am a student of computer science student but i had a knowledge of civil, electronics, electrical and mechanical field because the syllabus contain all those subjects but if we talk about the research field then the syllabus is not sufficient as for research work. As it needed the full knowledge of the subject for that we must go for M.Tech and the faculties of our college are talented, experienced and hard working they are always ready to support students. They gave their 100% to make student understand the subject. Student can go to them at any time during college hours to ask any question related to subjects they always teach student as their own children they usually explain students topic using daily life examples so that they can easily understand the topics and their daily life implementation. Most of the teacher are phd holders and remaining are M.Tech so they know how to teach a student and how to treat us because in previous day they were also student so they know how to treat us and what we like.

I had completed my internship from Balaji Institute their they made us to work on project over core java in the first 2 months they taught us the basics of java language then from the starting of the third month they just helped us to make a project individually means each student prepared own project what ever they had on their mind. I had just prepared business software. Then after 4 months we switched to real projects that came form various customers. We learnt a lot from our internship about the leadership quality how to lead a team, how to set customers means how to deal with them.In short the experience was awesome.

Our college placement is good as compared to other private colleges of gwalior Each year TCS is coming to our college and placing 20% students among the eligible ones. TCS offers 3 -3.4 lakhs per year. The student have to clear three round to make him selected in tcs first round is aptitude ten email writing and the final is technical round and HR round after passing all these round student got selected in that. After that 2 to 4 more companies come and take remaining students with them.

Every year our college organizing a annual function that contains sport meet, cultural functions ,gaming and many more . We have 15 day full enjoyment students participates on them with full enthusiasm and with the feeling of wining and the prize distribution ceremony will conduct on the last day during function. Apart from that we are also having Ip party and Farewell party for our juniors and seniors. In our college Ganesh Mahotsav is also organized.In it also student gets participated with full interest and devotion.

Yes for Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and M.P. student there is a facility for Scholarship as provided by U.P., Bihar and M.P. government. Loan facility is also avail by student who want to take loan the procedure for that is simple you should have go to bank show your documents then they will ask you College prospectus and the detailed fee structure of the college if want to stay in hostel then fees of hostel also mention on it after few days of approval they will give the DD on the name of your college to submit the fees.

We are having a good enriched campus with variety of professions because in our campus we are having Management college ,Engineering college, Dental college, Nursing college and a hospital so that's why students of different professions are always there in our campus. The gender ratio is some what equal and for parties in college we should have to take permission from management for parties. In each semester our college is organizing a workshop according to our demands. In our college we are having various clubs like ideas and innovation ,movies, literature and many more clubs in ideas and innovation club members need to give new ideas and work over that and if the project was really innovative then the college will finance it. Various achievement of our college students are "matka cooler" and "eco friendly cooler" and many more.

Hostel is the biggest attraction of our college because it is having the biggest hostel in gwalior among all the private engineering colleges with the efficiency of 250 students.It is having two sitter and three sitter rooms room are well furnished and provided with one almirah, table , chair and bed to each student. 24*7 light facility, well hygienic bathrooms and toilet. Fees of our hostel is RS 45000 per year including all charges. Mess facility is also good as we can't get food as our home but the food is hygienic and prepared under warden supervision. If student having complain regarding food then the will imediatly gets switched to other person.

I will rate it to 6 stars as the anti ragging rule made juniors away from seniors they don't have any interaction in college but we all are connected with each other through facebook, whats up and various social networking sites.
