Amrita University is one the best colleges in india, It has a unique and wonderful infrastructure, situated in the vallies of bolluvampatti hills. The faculry is really good, and you get a lot of opportunities in this colleges, including clubs, teams, music. etc
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum depends entirely on the branch which you choose. You will have 8 semesters to get your btech degree. The exam structure is similar to other colleges. 2 periodicals and 1 semester exam per semester.You will also have 3 tutorials.
Placement Experience
This college has its own campus interviews and almost 95% of the students get placed in a good company with decent salary. College offers internship for students who are well versed in academics. Students are allowed to apply for internships thourough relatives.
College Events
There are 3 main events in our college. Gokulashtami is celebrated in a grand way in this college. It's an inter-department event.Next is anokha, its a national level tech fest where people from other colleges come to this college to participate in events. Next is amritotsavam, which is again an inter department event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is slightly expensive, but it's definitely worth it. The college's atmosphere is wonderful, the ground is covered with green grass all over and it is maintained well.The fee sums upto 3LPA for tution fee and the mess and hostel together adds upto 90000 per year
Fees and Financial Aid
There is only one scholarship faciltity offered, it is for students who secure a rank of 100 or lesser than that. There is also loan faciltity offered. Students can take student loans from banks and repaly Them later.
Campus Life
The lab facilities are wonderful. It is equipped with latest technology instruments. There are no parties and all inside College. The gender ration is 1:3 girls:boys ratio. Some teachers dont like boys talking to girls and girls talking to boys.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are pretty decent conpared to orher hostels. THE ROOMs are really spacious, 1st 3 years will be on sharing basis, 4 people per room. And the last year, you'll have to be single. You'll be provided with a table and a cupboard.
Alumni/Alumna
Senior interaction is wonderful. Especially during gokulashtami, you'll have to get together with your seniors and make models according to the givem theme. It's a reallly great opportunity to keet and talk to seniors and become friends with them.
Admission
You will have to write an entrance exam, after which seats will be given based on the rank secured in the exam. The maximum rank for which one can get a seat is somewhere around 12000. Else it is not possible to get a seat
Faculty
The faculty in amrita is really good. Teachers are very approachable and friendly towards the students. They are very knowledgeable in their respective field. They even take special efforts to make the students understand a particular topic.
