My College Review

The course curriculum was pretty basic and detail-oriented. My specializations were in finance and marketing. It's bad that they have pre-defined combinations for dual specializations. We learned a lot from the curriculum, especially how to relate different aspects and enhance the productivity of business on the whole. Along with the core subjects we had to study some of the elective subjects as well.

Our college has strong corporate tie-ups with companies from a diverse background. Some of these companies were Bank of America, Johnson, and Johnson, Citi Bank, Morgan, and Stanley, etc. Students are recruited for profiles like a consultant, process manager, business development executive, etc.

My annual fee was 60k INR, which was pretty feasible, to be honest. Our college is one of the most feasible and budget-friendly private institutes in Mysore. And it was closer to my house as well. The fee was to be paid on a semester basis.

Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis. Applicants have to apply at the time of registration. Scholarships offered by our college is solely dependent on the academic performance of the applicants. Additionally, students belonging to a reserved category are eligible for availing a relaxation in the fee.

Our institute organizes alumni meet on an annual basis. Alumni visit our campus in order to interact with the students and resolve queries. All of them shared their personal journey and aspirations which was very inspiring.

The entire selection process is pretty simple but exhaustive. I applied with my scores of CAT exam scores and there on the process was pretty simple. Even GD round went great, but the interview round was pretty intense and they grilled me on all fronts. From questions based on my graduation to my management skills, they tested all. When I look back, I feel lucky that I was able to crack the interview round.

All of our faculty members were very much qualified. They all had many relevant degrees ranging from MBA, M. Phil., even there were some Ph.D. holders as well. They also possessed an ample corporate experience which was like a first-hand experience for us. I am personally grateful for their level of dedication.
