My thoughts about my college

Our college has just completed 10 yes and is already in the tier 1 colleges list. Has obtained NBA and NAC creditations. Initiation for various department level events is going and soon will be conducted.

First they were following Anna univ syllabus but now since it has been given autonomous they have improved the curriculum. More future based automation subjects are introduced for students who are completely under autonomous control while others are still following Anna university syllabus

The college gets us some internship opportunities in MNC's for a period and also arranges of implant training if requested. They take us to certain companies for IV on one to two day basis so that we could be always updated with the industry

Our college since it has become autonomous now is planning on various events. Recently there was the launch of media max club event. Our college flagship event is the industry connect where students gets in touch with higher officials of an company. It takes place for 2 days with seminars and also other fun events

The fees structure is feasible.But anyhow it costs more for the management quota people. For govt quota students the fee structure is as decided by Anna univ. There is no extra fee other than that.

There is quite good scholarship offered by our college. For BC quota cutoff of 180-185 in 12th gives a fee wavier of 50% and cutoff of 185-90 gives 75% fee wavier and 100% above that. For MBC quota cutoff of 175-180 gives 50% wavier and it goes on after that

Our college has a very good basketball and volleyball ball team who are the best in our devisional level. There are also other sports like cricket,football,shuttle and even track games.There are even scholarships for sports students.

Our college has an alumini assosiation. This helps them to get in touch with their companies for placement opportunities. We also conduct various alumini meets in our campus so that they could interact with their juniors and tell them about the growing industry and give them certain future guidance

My college had good placement options in my field compared to other colleges for my mark criteria.The placement cell are striving for bringing many core companies which other even premium colleges also does't bring.

The faculties are well trained,they even undergo implant training often to get in touch with the industry and make the students correlate their subjects with the industrial equipments.Thus the students are capable attaining more technical knowledge than the book knowledge
