College was a beauty, the scenic views and the closeness to nature is one of the best parts about the college. As calm and exuberant it remains, it glows that much as well. Interaction between professors and an individual gets restricted to the talented ones after an year or two, the silent others only hope to get out of their closet. The professors are absolutely welcoming, but it's about the gesture that everyone perceives.

The academics here maintain an equilibrium of practical research and theoretical knowledge. Also, the courses were well divided to not make it too hectic to be handled. In my opinion only two semesters out of eight were a little hectic with core subjects and their labs. The rest gave ample time to an individual to work on anything/something of their own preference. Personally, CSE was one of the best branches with variety of electives available to one. However mechanical also had an added advantage that they had dedicated resources as well.

The job opportunities are quite a lot. Companies like Oyo, Amazon, Delhivery, DailyHunt, DirectI, Samsung, TEK Systems, Infoobjects, Sharechat, Sapient, SLK, Car Dekho, IBM and several others came before the year of graduation of 2018. Package offered varied from 4 lacs pa for IBM which recruited about 10 students to 40 lacs pa for DirectI. The placement ratio was 95% and most of the students who appeared for placements were all successfully placed via On-Campus procedures. The internship opportunity varies from company to company.

Cultural Fest is known as Vivacity, which is an extravagant cultural fest among all the colleges in Rajasthan. This cultural fest is a 3-day fest filled with various fun activities, involving art, music, dance, fashion, Femina Beauty contest, Sunburn and other live concerts. Each year, a theme is decided as per which all the other arrangements are made. The cultural fest has the most footfall among all the other fests in the college. Technical Fest is known as Plinth, a design to inquisitive students with keen interest in all the technical aspects around them. There are bot fights, hackathons, MUNs, literary items contest and what not. The smart minds come out in the battlefields of minds during this fest. Sports Fest is known as Desportivos, another one with teams of sports basketball, football, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, coming from around the northern states of the county and actively participating in the adrenaline rush.

The free structure is something I vaguely recall, the tution fees inclusion with hostel, mess and other amenities would go upto approximately 4 lacs per annum(i.e. two semesters). Going by the standards of a private deemed to be institutions, it was a feasible amount.

The scholarship were available on score ranking/CGPA basis. I wasn't one of them who availed it, so I am not clearly aware of the figures. But for having the consistency of scholarship it was mandatory to maintain your GPA over 9.

There is a diversified culture from across the country, students of all different states, religion and ethnicity study here. Gender ratio is almost like any other engineering college of 5:1 being boys:girls ratio. All the different festivals are widely celebrated here, and it all starts from the Freshers party and goes upto Farewell Party(also known as Nostalgia). Holi, diwali, dushhera, eid, Chouristmas, new year's all of these are celebrated with great vibrance. During the early months of the year, the student body elections are held which send across a completely different vibe and creates unique atmosphere on the campus. Students with leadership qualities and acceptable skills of political opinion, actively participate in these Senate Elections. I myself was a part of it too for an year, and what an amazing experience it was, getting to see the other side of the college.

Seniors are extremely helpful and outgoing. The alumni interaction is also commendable, however improvements could be made in the ways to reach out to them. When and if in need, an unknown Alumni is always ready to help out another junior from the same college.

The counseling procedure in LNMIIT is based on the cut off score of JEE Mains. The counseling is held for thouree days in six different slots where students of different range scores come according to the slot allocated to them. The seats for the courses available here are on first come, first serve basis. My counseling was on the second day, morning slot, and I was alloted a waiting list on CSE and a confirmed seat on CCE(similar to IT). After my final confirmation, I got upgraded to CSE in the later months when the list was reshuffled.

Faculty is super interactive and quite filled with both experience and wisdom. They encouraged us to out farthest thoughts to extract what the best we could give. They were strict at times when it came to following a proper curriculum, but equally supportive and enthusiastic for other activities. Courses like Computer Architecture, Networks, IoT and several others were very interesting classes to attend to.
