Remarks
The college is located on a really peaceful location and is very easy to reach by public transport. It has well maintained cricket ground and library. The campus is a bit smaller than other colleges. Overall it's okay.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course here provides a wide range of subjects, providing less time to research on a particular area but also provides with sufficient concepts to work on. Exams are conducted by the university that is Guru govind Singh indraprastha university. There are first term, mid term and end term examinations in each semester.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are sufficient for IT related branches. Lots of MNCs and startups visit this college every year to hire students or provide them with internships. College doesn't provide any internships on its own, but allows companies to offer such roles.
College Events
There are many many students societies here in msit. These societies come together once a year to organize a college fest called avensis. Other than this annual event, each society organises student centered events every month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, the maximum fee for a graduate program here is 1, 20, 000 inr. College also provides fee waivers for economically poor sections of society. Additionaly merit scholarships are provided to students by college as well as by the university.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students with good grades receive around 13, 000 every year for their performance. Apart from this college provides around 50, 000 fee waiver for economically weaker sections of society from the total fee of 1, 20, 000.
Campus Life
Almost all the labs are well equipped with latest gadgets, has good internet connections and simulation kits. Gender ratio among teaching staff is quite impressive, whereas among students it's not very good. Most of the students are Hindus and then Muslims. Majority of students studying here are from middle class section of society.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumnus and senior colleagues are really helpful and guide fellow students regarding job opportunities, interview preparation and workshops. Hackathon culture is promoted among students by seniors and alumnus.
Admission
I was a 3year diploma student, upon completion I secured a rank of 177 in LEET entrance exam, and got myself admitted to MSIT. Students holding rank between <300 can easily get admission via LEET exam in Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.
Faculty
Most of the faculty in this college is highly qualified and holds a doctorate and many research papers in their respective fields of study. There are also some teachers pursuing their doctorate. They provide students with the opportunity to help them with research papers.
