Remarks

One negative mark - A girl committed sucide in the college hostel room because of some exam thing. Professor has warned because of some malpractice in the exam which made her scared of the issue. May be the day she hanged was the black day to our college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Regarding the course, B.E- Aeronautical our college Sathyabama will be in top 10 all over India. This is the main reason for me to choose this college. Going to exam structure, For a semester there will be 2 unit exams and 1 sem exam. 2 units - 50% 1 sem - 50% Total - 100%

Placement Experience

Placements in our college will be great for Computers and IT departments because the companies that come for placements are IT companies. The core learners like aero, auto and robotics will not have any great opportunities for placements. If we are interested we can attend interview of IT companies for placements.

College Events

Culturals are great in our college big celebs will attending. Recently this Kgf movie actor Yash visited our college. Tamanna Bhatia on the following day. And there will freshers party it will also be done greatly. Some tournaments were also recently conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say it is Expensive for average indians because iam also studying on a loan in the college. It is 300000 per year. Yeah i know it is expensive but studying in good college will give good future i guess and thats my motto.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college will provide only one scholarship scheme based on my knowledge that too National scholarship scheme of India which is govts. I've applied to it but didn't worked. I guess it is 30000 per student if they are selected.

Campus Life

National cadet corps(NCC), Cricket, Kabaddi, Basket ball these are the best extracurricular activities in our college. Even I'm an NCC guy.Ncc is the best thing in our college out of studies And Basketball tournaments too.

Hostel Facilities

I will give a 3Star rating out of 5 to the hostel. Coming to hostels there are some good blocks in hostel based on the year they built. The blocks built recently have good rooms and hostels built back before years are very very bad.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior are not much helpful but if we go to them it might. Because when it comes to our aeronautical department our senior are not much helpful they will be doing there job not minding juniors business.that sounds funny lol.

Admission

Starting with entrance exam, got a rank of lessthan one thousand then. I've got a call from college regarding the councelling date. There after, i went there to Chennai to choose the branch i like and to know about fee structure. Ok finally, everything went well and completed the admission process.

Faculty

If we talk about faculty i would say that they are bit less which means I'll give 3 or 4 stars out of 5 star. Teaching for some time in English they will go to Tamil and starts explaining. If a student is curious to learn something staff will come forward, if you are not they don't even care for us.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
