POSITIVES would be the academics and you would be always be desperate about placements that will always be the big positive for any student. Negatives will be the lack of encouragement towards sports and research.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure was similar to university which would be accumulation of assignments, internals and externals. The labs will be satisfactory for exam purpose but no sign of new equipment for research.
Placement Experience
The placements would be great for IT courses but it will be good for non IT courses. Our college doesn't provide any internship but they do allow us to pursue internship during semester breaks which student does it on their personal interest.
College Events
The college conducts a technical fest and cultural festival which are named acumen and euphoria respectively. The attendees would be from all around the city for both the fests and the fifteen days during them will be very exciting as it seems like a festival in the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure seems to be expensive as it is one of the top college of the state. The fees would be around 5 lakhs for course. It will be payable annually before the year commences but payment of exam fees would be hectic.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship would be the size of peanut that is provided by the college. There is no such loan facility from the college seperately but we can always avail education loan from the banks showing the admission letter.
Campus Life
To have a talk about extra curricular activities, it's too bad because no faculty would encourage the students in there to concentrate on extra curricular activities. Gender ratio would be 3:2. There would be bunch of cultural societies in college.
Hostel Facilities
No. There is no hostel for the college I mean no such accommodation is provided from the college side. From our perspective, it will be the most disappointing thing because the students will have to stay in private hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumnus of the college will interact with the students around thouree times an year and would share their experiences from after college. The seniors would be friendly as there is zero tolerance for ragging.
Admission
The admission is based on cumulative grade of plus 2 academics and entrance exam of the state. Also being one of the top colleges in state, excellence in academics would fetch you an admission. No sign of interview for admission even for b category and management seats.
Faculty
The process of hiring faculty was the best as it follows the university norms. But for some courses, there still needs the interest to bring some specialists that they would encourage students to pursue research courses during their post graduation.
