College Review

No there is no negative remark for these college except one thing I don't like about these college is that why so much unnecessary events and expenses on that events I know the seminar are important but there some events that in my opinion is waste of money

It was not so chilled and not so hectic I'll say the exam structure at my time was two internal and one University exams in a year but now they semester system so first you have to internal and after that semester so in one semester you are giving two exams

Yes they give placements and intership but I haven't take any placement from these college because I have my family business and also I wanted to pursue mba afte graduation didn't take part in any of the placement or intership provide by the college. But they do give placements and intership

In a whole year they have around 200-250 events approx each day they have a seminar or an event of the sports or any academic event and The Umang is one of the best college fest in kolkata And I have personally organised many events in the college and one of the best event I managed was bplt intra cricket tournament

One year fees in bcom and I think they different fees structure for different courses in bcom it's one time fees 50000? or you can also pay that in instalments in an avg thouree year course it would be around 1.5 lakh for bcom

I don't they have any loan facilities but I do know they give scholarship to those students who scored above 95% they gave them scholarship of around ?20000 and also if you get 60% consecutively thouree years in your bcom then also they provide the scholarship of around half of your fees

The college has the best sports room i think in kolkata and they have a basketball court and badminton court also and the college is a no ragging zone and I haven't seen any of the tolerance or anything that creates problems to gender ethnicity race or religion all are one in these college

They have good alumni network they regularly give the mail's of any job vaccancy that are available in their contact and they also have a website for alumni students in which students can share their thoughts or if they have any jobs for others

It was an online procedure we just have to fill a form and pay 500? for the form I don't know what's the application fees right now but in 2016 it was 500? for B.Com they have different procedure for different courses in bcom they don't take interview it's just a merit list but I. Different courses they do take an interview

The faculty in the college is really good 95% of the faculty are CA or CS and they teach really well some of the teacher have also done CA and have a PhD in accounting. In my opinion the faculty is one of the best in kolkata
