The college SVNIT situated in Surat is a very good and reputed college and every engineering aspirant should give his best in JEE Mains exam since now 12th % are not counted for admission and you will need a good JEE Mains score to get in this college.

The course structure is very good with a very decent focus on research. The exams and Labs were a source of constant learning. Yes, at times they were very frequent leaving with a hectic day but also sometimes it was chilled.

The placement opportunities are fabulous because many top companies come here to recruit engineers and offer hefty packages. The college does not provide internship but students are required to pursue internship from any company of core branch and stipend and experience differ from company to company and from branch to branch.

The college used to host a cultural programme every year to unleash the hidden talent of students and to nurture the extra non curriculum activities like singing, dancing, etc. A cricket tournament was also held.

The tution fees were 62500 per semester i.e. 125000 per year and hostel fees were 75000 which makes the total cost per year 200000. It is a feasible amount and cannot be termed as expensive because the teaching and infrastructure are really very good.

No I have not taken any loan. But there is availability of education loan of total amount of fees payable. But any other kind of loan or scholarship are not available. The education loan is the only available option for loan.

The extracurricular activities like games, sports, singing, dancing, etc are very good. Student parties are organised from time to time to re-energize the students. Student diversity is very wide as students from different part of country prevail here. Gender equality works here and there is no tolerance with regards to gender. Both girls and boys are equally punished for any offence.

The hostel rooms were on sharing basis as well as private basis. The rooms on private basis were charged more as compared to rooms on sharing basis. Rent was 6000 per month for private basis and 4000 per month for sharing basis.

The alumni network is good. The seniors are always ready to help except few. I have a very great experience with the seniors. They had helped me numerous times. Everyone except few is good and ready to help me and all other juniors.

First JEE Mains exams were taken and then on the basis of Mains marks and 12th % I got placed in this college. Then at the college we were required to submit 45000 to confirm seat. And then all the important documents and health certificate were submitted by me.

The faculties here are highly qualified. Their enthusiasm to teach was worth notable. They were very interested to teach a particular course. In fact the faculties were very good and in short they taught us really well.
