Good College for Engineering

Overall the college is good and improving day by day. If you are looking to do btech in budget and wishes to land up a good job in IT sector then this college can serve as a good place to you. If you are looking to go for higher studies then also you can join undergraduate course and prepare for entrance exam as you will get a plenty of time.

Course Structure of Electronics and communications and Mechanical mainly focuses on GATE preparation. For CSE the course structure is latest and updated. Exam structure comprised of mid semester and end semester examination.

The placements of this year is excellent and growing day by day. College also have a project based internship semester of 6 months. I got an internship in Coviam technologies in Bengaluru with stipend 24000 per month. I got a pre placement offer also from Coviam of 7.5 LPA. I am also placed in Samsung technologies which has offered me a package of 14 LPA. This year Jio, Zolo stays, Vassar labs, Samsung, Coviam, IBM, Oracle, Ericsson, L & T, Brahmos, Yantriks were some of the renowned companies that visited the campus. There were many other companies also which visited. Highest package offered on campus is 17LPA by Jio and off campus highest package is 28 LPA by Amazon.

Thouree mega tests are there : Cultural fest, Sports fest and technical fest. Cultural fest name is Tarang which central India's largest cultural fest and it receives a lot of participation. Sports fest name is gusto. It is also well known and receives participation from all parts of India.

Fee structure is feasible like any other government college. You will get 2/3rd remission on fee if your parents income is less than 5 LPA. Also you can avail a lot of scholarships by satisfying the merit criterias.

MCM scholarship is offered to students whose annual family income is less than 2 lakh. This is also a merit based scholarship with limited number of seats. But most of the applications get accepted. There's no reservation in availing this scholarship. in this scholarship you will get complete remission for tuition fees.

There are a lot of clubs like literary club, dance club, music club, sports clubs, technical clubs. These clubs organise a lot of activities thouroughout the semester and you will get a plenty of opportunities. Also clubs organise annual trips to some good fests in other colleges where you can represent your college.

Hostels are well managed, clean and homely. Rooms are spacious and everyone has to stay in hostel as it is compulsory. There is a central mess which provides average food. There are canteens in each hostel which are also very affordable.

Alumni network is becoming stronger day by day. A lot of companies visit campus because of alumni network. Seniors are also very helpful. If you maintain good relationships them you can land up with a referral in any renowned company. Healthy interaction among seniors and juniors is witnessed.

I got admission in this college thourough JEE Mains entrance examination. My JEE rank was 17974. Nowadays JEE mains happen twice a year and the entrance is thourough merit basis. Also for female students, there is 20? reservation.

College have a lot of well qualified faculties. Almost all faculties have done their PHD from foreign universities. Also they are very cooperative and have a lot of research projects under them which you can pursue under their guidance.
