Overall my college life and hostel life experience was too good thanks to the college and hostel management.

I have joined this college because I was good in mathematics during my secondary education during my higher secondary education, I love the business administration subject also. Those the combination of these subject helped me to choose commerce stream at that time, we came to know that city college of commerce and business administration was doing good results. Also, many of my friends are joining that college. These factors helped me to join this college.

The course curriculum was great the faculties were good too. All of them gave good support to us. They gave valuable time to let us understand various subjects. They also arrange for mock tests, debates on various subjects, special classes before the examinations.

One of our faculty arrange for internship for myself in a Chartered Firm during my studies. The internship experience was very good. I did the job for 1 year. Later on, after finishing my course, my employer asked me to continue at their Firm. But, my uncle arranged for me in an Export organization with better remuneration. So, I joined over there.

Unfortunately, at that time there was no placement or job opportunities from our college directly. But, the faculties gave us their references to look for job at various locations according to the merit and qualifications of the respective students.

We observe various festivals in our college campus, like Saraswati Puja, Freshers Festivals, Students Re-union, Teachers Day, etc. Also, we played Cricket and Football matches between different classes as well as between Faculties and students. We also organise Carrom Competetions, Table Tennis Competetions, etc.

I have not applied for any Loans during my course neither I have received any Scholarships during my course. My father himself funded all my education fees he was a Paper Merchant. Later on due to his health and due to heavy Bad Debts we have to stop that business. But, he never asked for money from anyone for my education.

Our campus life was great the campus superintendant behave with us like a friend. Though it was only for boys we organize excursion camps also apart from that we organize indoor competitions, drama, etc. within our campus. Campus Superintendant and staffs also took part in the drama that we organized.

The hostel facility was good too it was in a good location, surrounded by greenaries, We played Cricket, Football at the ground situated just beside the Hostel, The Hostel Premises was quite good. The capacity was of around 40 to 50 students. The food they served was quality food. The Hostel superintendent arrange special food at various festivals. But, the Hostel fees was not too much at that time. Overall, we have enjoyed the Hostel life.

Our friendship network is still active, even though we have spread over various parts of the country. During Durga Puja Festival, most of our friends comes back to Kolkata and we meet for one evening and enjoy. Thus, our friendship bondage is still very strong.
