My college experience

For college, it's main agenda should be get their students good job. And my College lacks in that place. We were not given practical knowledge so we had to face getting jobs. We had to pay extra rupees in private companies to get trainning and after that we got the job. Although for social life, extracurricular activities my college is good, it helped me to make contacts and gain confidence which i lack since childhood

Our course was only about theory knowledge. There is no practical knowledge given. So students lack skills in that area. Although there are other activities which was quite helpful to increase confidence.

Job opportunities are very less, companies come with basic packages with bonds but their place of work was very far and salary packages are low so we can not compensate. We have to get jobs on our own

Our college doesn't have good practical knowledge but it is the ocean of events and activities. There are many events going on every month in departments. There is cultural event called lumina which includes dancing, singing, fashion show etc. There is game tournament for Cricket, Football and basketball

Fee Structure was very expensive based on middle class family. We have semester system. So there sre total 4 years in graduation and 8 semester. One semester fess is around 32500?. So yearly expense is 65000? plus there are also other notes, assignment are given which we have to buy from the store which is in the college.

There were scholarship for TOP 5 rankers. They will be provided 10000? cheque.although it was not in all four years. I have seen those scholarship programme only once. There were no any kind of loans availability.

Our college is all about extracurricular activities. So there is group called youngistan, which they help poor childs to teach them. They also do clothes giving, sweets giving on festivals. We have also lj fetalias Magazine department in which we gather all the information for like year book. There are also sports department for cricket, football and vollyball and they play with different colleges. Gender ratio is about 60:40 for male to female.although it varies in different braches in engineering. There is no tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicities, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics And Economic Status.

Seniors are very nice. They always helped us to give knowledge for different activities which are going thourough out the year. They also helped us in our academics. They also helped us for participating in events and practising. They taught us how to manage time when there are both things exam and activities going on together

There is Engineering admission exam called JEE, After getting score, we had to fill up application form on GTU website. After that they will make merit list. On base of merit list college will declare their ranks in merit list and we got admission

Faculty are quietly focused on assignments, exam and theory knowledge. They have knowledge but unless we do practical, This is no use. Faculties do help us when we have doubt in theory. For projects they are not quite helpful.
