Remarks
There's no positive reviews if you are a student of Computer Science department of this college, you'll get a tough time in learning if you are aiming to study peacefully. The faculties are the most difficult part to deal in this department.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is nice but the most of the faculties (Part time/ Contractual) are underqualified and doesn't hold knowledge about the subject. Exam structure is based on 2 internal exams and a final exam per semester. However, the faculties will force you to get enrolled in their tuition classes where they will exchange question papers for the coming exams for money
Placement Experience
No placements. It provided no placements, however if they do, they will just call 1-2 startups at the max which will pay you less than 2-3Lakhs per annum. There's no scope of good placements as it isn't an engineering college.
College Events
There is no technical events as per other colleges. Here they organise cultural events during the month of Feb-March. The event used to be good with various art and competitions. They also hold annual sports meet which is good enough.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasable 8-9k per semester for BCA. The most expensive being Microbiology. Otherwise the fee structure is generic. However, as caution fee is concerned, they won't return it to you as that's how they gain extra money.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is scholarship for financially poor students, mostly girls. As a lot of people from tribal areas visit this college in the hope of good education, so there they provide scholarship based on your father's income.
Campus Life
Computer labs are decent but hardware labs are pathetic. The microprocessor kits are damaged and msny doesnt function, however, the faculties are aware of it, Nobody takes responsibility to inform the required authorities.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is decent, the college holds alumni meet too. They send invites snd one can attend. However, i have never attended, so I don't think I'll be suitable to answer for this question. One must pay additionally for getting registered in alumni network
Admission
I filled the form and a merit list was generated based on my 12th marks. They provided tentative dates for the merit list to be displayed in their website. Then they provided a time window for which one needs to visit personally and make payments and bag a seat.
Faculty
Facilities are underqualified and biased. They are more focused upon making money by tuitions than actually teaching the students. They will provide you with question papers if you provide them money, and they won't let you in peace if you are self sufficient. Kindly beware
