Remarks
I think the internship facility is the one lacking portion of college and the rest is very much great here. Loved my 3 years of b tech and will surely miss them after graduating. I am positive to get a decent placement also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is based on aktu syllabus and all rules specified are followed and the exams held in campus are also honest and matter for final internals. Each lab is once a week only and exams twice per semester. Not too often but helps a lot in studies for semester exams.
Placement Experience
Actually i am currently in third year so havent gone thourough placememt process. But as i have heard that is pretty good in GCET. As far as internships go students have to find them on their own. I also think that college must try to give internships also. But other than that it is great college.
College Events
The technical fests organised each year. The official club of cse department is extreme club which organises a fest named daksh each year in month of march. Other clubs are also their for each branch and they all organise an yearly fest. Some small events include gaming contests, dance and Dj nights etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is not too much high for me. Also the college manages to give some discounts also sometimes and that makes it more manageable. As most colleges have 2 lac fees on average here it is just half and 1 lac 32 thousand.
Fees and Financial Aid
I havent availed any but i know about the scholarship provided which is a great relaxation for students in low financial condition. The scholarship forms are out during september and the scholarship is recieved around march.
Campus Life
College organises many workshops by speakers coming from big colleges like iit and nit. Recently there were two amazon alexa day organised in which amazon employees came to host session. The sex ratio is pretty much good. But girls are less in number than boys.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were very helpful in my first year they guided me along my way. Ragging is zero in this college and i was never ragged by anyone nor have i ragged anyone junior than me. Seniors just expect to get a little bit of respect from juniors and are of no harm instead i have many seniors as my good friends also.
Admission
I came by upsee 2017. I wanted to take computer science over others since it seems more relatable to me being a maths lover. Also it is kind of open source and you can learn any technology on your laptop just google it.
Faculty
Experienced faculty with great teching tricks that in many subjects i dont even have to touch books whole sem except for revising class notes. Faculty completes course on time each sem and make you well prepared for finals.
