Remarks

Have some of the best facilities and faculty in India. The library is beyond excellent. The simulation lab-one of a kind in India-makes use of the best technlogy and is available to all students at all times to practice medicine. The hospital is a charitable hospital and provides cheap health care to those in need.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Excellent and interesting curriculum. Practicals are extremely interesting. The curriculum can be tiresome for someone who doesn’t enjoy medicine but anyone with a love for the degree will thouroghly enjoy the curriculum.

Placement Experience

5

Yes. Internship is extremely nice and provides a lot of exposure. Student exchange programmes to various countries like Italy, UK etc. George’s Hospital in Uk, Physicians college, London are a few colleges and hospitals which have trained our students.

College Events

4

Medinspire- India’s largest medical conference for students and practicing doctors Aura- Cultural Fest MPL- Cricket League Olympia- Intracollege sports fest Adrenalyn- Intercollege sports fest LitFest- Literary Fest DYChaRaja- Ganpati festival Garba night All the fests occuring in the college are of a massive scale. Medinspire witnesses thousands of people from all over india and several other countries.

Fee Structure And Facilities

25 lakh per anum. Expensive but worth the facilities provided to us. The Simulation lab in our campus is one of the only ones in India and is excellent. Plus they provide us with an amazing library which homes any possible book a student may require. Our library also homes online classes for students which is free.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any scholarships that this college offers but there are several loan options that they tell you during admission. Moreover, student loans from various banks are available to students.

Campus Life

5

We have massive sports stadium which includes basketball, tennis, badminton, table tennis, swimming, football etc. We have a huge cricket ground and a stadium. Indian Premier League and FIFA under 17 have been conducted in our sports arenas.

Hostel Facilities

5

Yes. Hostel is very comfortable and provides us with all the necessities. We have air conditioners and hot water in our washouroom 24/7. The security is extremely good and the rooms are spacious. The study rooms in the hostel are extremely helpful.

Alumni/Alumna

Extremely helpful. DY PATIL has produced some of the best doctors in the country and even world wide. There have been talks and seminars by the alumni where they give us valuable information. They have also introduced fellowship programmes for the students of DY PATIL.

Admission

Thourough NEET 2017. MBBS was always a dream for me and this college provides with some of the best facilities in India. Admission occurs thourough a common counseling by the Central Board of Secondary Education post recieving a national rank and marks.

Faculty

4.5

Most doctors are highly trained and have years of experience. There are doctors with over 30-40 years of experience guiding us- both in the lecture halls and in the hospital. The younger doctors are always ready to help us deal with examinations.

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
