In an all if I have a chance to relive any part of my life again it will be 2 years at GLIM there is everything, love, thrill, laziness(if you want), exposure, pressure of submissions, friends, and great learning.

Well I was preparing for CAT and gave almost all the management entrance test while I was working with one of the telecom giants. I didnot secure a good score in CAT(prefer not to disclose) but my score of XAT(91.4) and MAT(99.7) helped me get a call for process.

This college is unique within itself, 6 trimesters and approx 10 subjects each trimester, with the compulsory (basic) subjects been taught for 20 hours each trimester.Classes starts anywhere between morning 8 o'clock to 7:30 in the evening and can last upto 9:30PM. No holidays and a brilliant environment to study and peer engagement. Empirical Research is one of the key differentiator along with the uniquely designed Emerging market studies. And apart from that Mandarin learning classes are toppings on the core. Facilitated with world class faculty from around the world and different industries to share their experience with students.

College Internship process is as standarrd as the placement procedure and thus gives an prior experience/practice for final placements. Organizations from various sectors and many startups were present for offering the internship to the PGDM program.the internship stipend varied from 0 to 60,000 pm depending on organization. But average stipend offered was around 20,000 pm.

If you are looking for IT sector, no other college will give you better opportunity, but there always a mix of the different verticals of industries and everyone has their choices in front of the Placecom. So far from my experience and friends from other colleges. GLIM has got the most friendly Placement team which will be there for you no matter what.And as a result of the same 100% placement is shown almost every year. Glim has standard set for companies in terms of Compensation which again assures students for their standard placements. Avg CTC for PGDM for my batch was 8.26lpa.

GLIM has its annual Management fest named Lattitude, engaging all premium institutes across the world, Apart form this it has been a host for many management level competitions for different organizations. With in the different programs, various activities can always be seen in the institute.

Comparing to the other institutes in general its expensive but among the premium institutes its a feasible one. But the fees all inclusive of food and hostel is increasing with every batch so one has to decide based on their capability whether its feasible or expensive.

Medical insurance worth 50k every year plus there is not any such scholarship or loan facility is available.

In one word its AWESOME its in the southern part of India located close to beach and only platinum rated green campus. It feels like a resort on its first look. Although located not in a very favorable place of students but amazing environment with the perfect ratio of Boys and girls. Also students from all over India are the part of the great lakes family.

10/10 for hostel rooms, cleanliness and 8/10 for food for PGDM there was no option for the cubicle room but PGPM (1 year program) has the option of same as well as married hostel was available for special cases.

Not one of the biggest but yes it is one of the growing and finest alumni network in India, Celebrating only 10th year Great lakes institute of Management alumnus is already present at many top position sin various organizations and are always ready to share their experience with the growing family of GLIM.

It all depends on the Teacher for the subject, thouogh endterm is must as per AICTE for 35 % total contribution. Other marks depend on various assignments , projects and performance of the students.

GLIM is known for its world class faculty coming from across the world and different industries. Most of the faculty are visiting faculty but are always available over email and call to sort out student's problems. On campus Faculty are also second to none, with their experience and friendliness its always been a good environment to learn.
