College is best govt. institution in Dehouradun

College is best for the purpose of competitive exams. If someone wants to prepare for govt exams he may find good here. Faculties are supportive and provide assistance to the students. Infrastructure is quite old and facilities are less. But College is best in Uttarakhand.

If someone wants to prepare for govt. Jobs it is the best college. Course is good. Exam pattern is also good but result are declared late by the university that's not a issue for preparation It has semester system affiliated by HNBGU, Srinagar.

Placement is approx nil. No placement since it is a degree college. Student himself has to prepare for competitive exams and get a job. Lots of seminar and lectures are conducted by the placement cell of the college but no placement drive.

Various cultural programs and Events like debate quiz dance rangoli and all. Conducted by various student union parties. If someone is interested in sports can participate in university games in any game and get a chance to represent himself.

Fee is very cheap. Rs 12000 and you will complete your graduation. Some of the departments are self financed so there fees is little higher as compared to other departments. Govt College fees is very low.

Scholarship is for the state government students who had completed their 12th from the state board. There is a criteria for it, if you clear it you will get the scholarship otherwise not. Fee exemption for the ST/SC candidate.

Sports is the good opportunity for the students. Ome can represent himself at university level and can get a chance upto India level. NCC is also available there for ECA and it makes you a better person in college as compare to others. They get chance to attend Republic day Camp at New Delhi. Also we have Rangers and Rovers and NSS.

College don't have hostel facilities. We even don't have any space to build hostels. PGs are available in nearby area at feasible rate and personal rooms are also available at good price. One can find a lot number of rooms but unable to find best room.

Seniors of this college are at Various place and position. They come to motivate students. Most of them are in Army and defense forces. Also they tell about their department and provide their contact information for further help

Since, this college was renowned and popular in the city also it consists various departments for UG course in BSc and B.A. Various coaching centers are available near this college. Also one will come to know about competition. After my 12th result I applied for the college in Geology department one of the oldest and meticulous department of this college. After few days first merit was released and my name was there and got the admission.

Faculty are well qualified and experienced. All of them are NET qualified. Some of the faculties have done their PG from IITs. They are dedicated to teach the students and helpful in practicals. One can ask for help anytime and anywhere. Faculties are best.
