Finding Void in IET Lucknow

There is no sports complex. It is building and it will build in a year or two. It is a government college and the professor take it for granted. And they think that the salary is gonna come what's the problem take rest. And we suffer. So we should be independent by studying on our own and not depending on professor for teaching us.

The Course Structure is Just OK. They focus less on Practical knowledge and more on attendence and other stuff. The worst thing is attendence. Your attendance should be minimum 75 percentage otherwise you cannot give the exam. The Exam was quite of a good level. The Questions in the exam were mostly of moderate level.

Placement and Job opportunities are OK. The maximum package from this college is 10 lakh. The college provide very rare internship. You have to work yourself to approach company for giving you internship.

Our college host one Cultural Event ENCORE every year. It also host one Sports Events every year that is ShouryaUtsav. Other colleges also participates in these two event. The events are not huge like in IIT's and Nit's but it attracts huge number of crouds all over the State.

The fee Structure is feasible of compared to other colleges. The Academic fees is 90000 per year. The Hostel fees is 50000 per year. They provide an ordinary hostel to reside. The facilities of hostel are not upto the mark but they are Ok.

There are no scholarship offered by our college. We avail scholarship from Up government. The name of scholarship is Up Postmatric Scholarship. The government is doing a great job by providing scholarship for the underprivileged. They provide minimum of half the academic fees as scholarship.

There is no sports complex. We can only play cricket since there is only cricket ground. There is one basketball court which is inside the hostel. There are two badminton court also inside the hostel.

Seniors are the best people in the college. They are much helpful in any of the work. The administration is just doing the business but seniors help us in any situations. Alumni Network is also good. They provide some funds for the club of the college.

I had given UPSEE Exam in which my rank was 3848. For getting admission in this college UPSEE exam is mandatory. It is the best government college in UP that's why i have chosen this college as compared to others and the main reason was it is located in the Lucknow, my home city.

Staff is just OK. Just a few of the professor are good. And most of the staff doesn't teach and they do not take regular classes also. Some are so poor that we don't get 1 percent of the subject they teach in class.
