A journey worth sharing

Very friendly environment for students to work for their career. Faculty is good and will help thourought the course. College is located near college Street so there is no problems with transportation to college.

Bcom Hons is 3 years course, 1st year comprising of pass subjects and next two years comprising of honours subjects. The course structure is gradual and doesn't create a burden on the students. The college starts from 10 in morning at ends generally at 5 in evening.

Few companies does come for placement in final year. Different companies come to offer jobs for different steams according to their requirements. For our bcom course icici Prudential came for placement.

Annual event known as sangrilla is a 4 days event held just before Durga puja holdidays. Every year some artists / celebrities are invited to perform. Students from other colleges also come to perform and compete in various events. Overall, a great fest of 4 days.

The fee structure is very feasible which is around 2000 per year as far as I remember. One can also apply for various transportation concession from college which will help many students financially.

Scholarship is available but I don't know the details of those. A few of my friends had opted for scholarships too and availed the same too. More details about the procedure can be known by contacting college office.

Lab for science students and a lab for computer is available. There is seperate common room for boys and girls. Gender ratio is mostly equal. Students from all economic background be it high / low studies here as fee structure is less.

No hostel facility is available in the college. However students can get pg(paying guest) or hostel facility nearby. There are many people providing such facilities. In pg one gets food too along with accommodation.

College seniors are helpful. They help in every aspects be it studies or doing any cultural event or game. We even used to play carrom with our seniors when we got a off-class. They help with the official processes too.

Candidate is selected from merit list which is made from marks secured in 12th class of the applied candidates. Candidates are called according to the number of seats available in the respective steams.

Good faculty with adequate knowledge and friendly with students. Adequate number of professors are available for each subjects and each of them are highly qualified. They help students thouroughout the course. Some of them provides private tuitions too.
