College review

Negative: It is a bit far from the city. And as the campus is large there is more to walk. Positive: Facilities Infrastructure Library Playgrounds Labs Research labs Faculty Canteens and food courts.

The college is autonomous. The curriculum can be made by the college itself. This gives the flexible nature to change the syllabus whenever needed. The curriculum can be modified as per industry trends and new technologies. There are research labs along with general labs where the students are allowed to enhance skills and experience various technologies. Dedicated space can be availed by the students after proper explanation to management. The management is supportive and allows you to use the infrastructure ina good way.

The placements are just excellent and almost all the students from our class got placed. Almost 95 percent got placed and most of them were into product based companies. The college provides internship for some students. The stipend is around 15k per month. After the internship, the students receive their original pay amount as per their offer letter. The college provides all the facilities for us to attend the internship.

There are two major events celebrated in college. One is annual day celebrations which is internal to college and many people from film fraternity visit the campus. The other one is Mohana Mantra. It is a techno cultural fest and many students from other colleges come and enjoy the fest. It is a 3 day national level techno cultural fest and many events happen. Around 10k people participate in the fest.

The fee is a bit expensive. But there are various scholarships and other reimbursements provided for the students. So it depends on the category the students falls into. The donation seat costs more because they got the seat from management quota. Other students are eligible for reimbursement.

The college provides the fee reimbursement for the students who got into it thourough merit basis. Around 35000 can be reimbursed by the scholarship and the remaining amount should be paid by the student.

The labs need special mention here. There are various labs other than general labs. The general labs are used during the week sessions where the lab exercise is practically done. There are research labs for various departments. These are special places where a lot of good things happen. The research can be carried out by students in their desired field and all the facilities are provided by the management. There are grounds and indoor places where sports like cricket, tennis, etc. Can be played.

The alumni network is quite simple. Every batch will have a mentor even after we leave college. We can contact mentor for any doubts even after leaving the college. The mentor keeps in touch with all the batchmates. This helps us in getting and being in touch with everyone.

I got admission thourough entrance exam EAMCET. The exam is taken generally after intermediate(+2). Based on the scores we get in it, we are allowed to choose our course. I got good rank in EAMCET. So I got my selected department in it. Basically I am a computer guy and I am interested in coding. So that interest in me made me choose computer science and as i got good score in EAMCET, I got seat in my desired course. The admission process is simple and it depends on the score we get in EAMCET.

The faculty is the major strength of the college. There are many professors from various departments and they are good in their own way. Any doubt can be clarified and we can get knowledge of outside sources and other future careers available for us. Many of them are too good and are serious about each student. They guide them personally as well.
