In my opinion, CU is the best college with all the facilities available which are required or mandatory for the better college life and for study.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers present in the university are all well experienced in their field, having good knowledge and skills. The study material and syllabus provided to students is appropriate and completely relevant to future industry exposure. They are trying their best to make future industry professional in us.
Placement Experience
As I told earlier, this college has the best placement record. Every student of HM have to do their industrial training in 2nd year (half no. Of students in 3rd semester and remaining half in 4th semester) but they are allowed to do training in 5-star properties only. CU has tie-ups with many good properties including Walt Disney, Ritz Carlton, Oberoi, Taj, JW Marriott, etc.
College Events
There is an N number of events happening in the university throughout the year. The main fests happen in the university are TECH event, CU FEST, 9X TASHAN nights. These events happens every year. Except these, other various events also take place in the university including interdepartmental competitions and extracurricular activities including radio Mirchi shows and open mic session on famous fountain point.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees for HM is much feasible. Without much investments, CU provides the best to its students. Fees need to be paid per semester, either student can pay online, or offline or else they can pay through bank NIFT. Fees are accepted in cash and in card form.
Fees and Financial Aid
Due to my fewer marks in my 12th academics, I was unable to get any scholarship. Though CU offers wide stretchable options for a scholarship, based on different categories like merit-based, spots based, cucet ranking based, etc. And now in this COVID pandemic, they are offering special scholarship for the wards of frontline warriors.
Campus Life
The campus life of CU is way better than expectations. Full of energy with young minds. No ragging environment and huge campus to roam with friends to chill out and relax. So many events happen to participate or join, full of positive energy, youth and healthy environment to learn and upgrade self skills. The gender ratio is also notable.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the Alumni network is very helpful. The seniors are really very frank with juniors. Always ready to guide them. Also, CU is having FB page for their alumni and also on LinkedIn, to be better touch with students and easy to contact everyone.
Admission
I have a keen interest in this field that's why I decided to study more on this subject. When I searched for the best colleges for myself to get the admission after my 12th result, I found Chandigarh university, which shows the best placement records. They also have their office in my home town, when I visited there, the staff addressed me with the course profile.
Faculty
The curriculum made for the weekly study of students includes theory and practicals labs both in the same week of every subject so that students can practically learn better what they had taught in the theory class twice a week. There are enough faculty in our block to teach students effectively, approximately 2 or 3 teachers for each subject.
