The management is not good the resources available in the college can be used more efficiently but the mgmt it not much concerned about the students welfare there are various rules and regulations which imposed then called off then against imposed I don't what they want.

I have opted maths stream after my 10th board so going for IIT and AIEEE was a obvious option. I cleared the AIEEE examination to get admission to the college there was just the councelling process no PI i have scored around 130 or 135 in the AIEEE examination.

It's a professional course B.Tech had clearly got a raputation infact it's not a degree it's a way of thinking but as far as the faculty in the college is concerned it's not up to the expectations there are few excellent and experience prof but there is a shortage of faculty and still there is a lot which can be improved if you are willing to do something the teachers are supportive and encouraging.

This is one area where the college is lacking its stand we have to search for the industries in which we can do internships though being the only central university around the state you get the preferences in the local companies but getting internships in a renowned company is hard nutshell to crack i have done my internships at SAIL and INDIAN RAILWAYS. The experience was quite good as you are able to see the real time application of all the principles and theories learned in the classrooms.

Placement is not satisfactory here I guess that is the case with most of the institute's but you can initiate by applying in regional industries as its a sort of industrial area there are few companies like some power plants from nearby areas and some software firms(of which I don't remember the names) came and offered reasonable package of about 3-4 lakh an annum and 15-20 students were placed.

Being a university, there are fest of all kinds we have our own tech fest and its getting bigger and bigger year after year the fest is of national level there are several groups as well nukkad natak, tarang band, theatre groups and all and they are doing quite a job.

There are few scholarship if you are good in studies and also for those who represents university in various games along with which a number of events are organised in which you can avail the benefit according to your talent there are three bank in the college campus from where you can easily avail the loan.

The overall campus life is average you have various student groups in the college the gender ratio is ok the university is tolerant to various ethnic groups and all these is not a problem in the university the atmosphere is quite happening.

The hostels are not good the condition is deteriorating but the good news is construction of new hostel has been completed and they are really nice the fee is 2300 per year you heard it right the fee is real low but the condition of food in not good the mess is run by student association but it's edible 4.5/10 the bill is not that high it's about 1800 a month.

The alumni network is not so good as it has been only few years that the alumni has formed it only up to your personal contact with your seniors though the seniors are very helpful and supportive and don't expect that the things will roll all by itself.
