Remarks
SCMS is a very strict college. Students are instructed to be in uniform, dress properly, black formal shoes, be clean-shaven, and so on. Students won't experience the fun and excitement like other colleges. SCMS is like another version of a school.
Course Curriculum Overview
Same as to the other colleges. Exams are conducted as with normal colleges with the extra security of CCTV cameras placed on every classroom where the examinations are held. Labs aren't used for exams that much.
Placement Experience
College doesn't provide internships. On the basis of placements and job opportunities, this college is good. Lots of big firms conduct placement tests in this college. Those who pass the tests will get immediate job approval and a high sum salary.
College Events
Compared to festivals and events this college is the worst. There were instances of cancelation of festivals in the middle due to petty issues. And if conducted, an event, strict rules are implemented for both the students and participating students from various colleges, rather than enjoying.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Expensive but comparatively the same as other colleges. But unlike other colleges, students have to be like in a strict school atmosphere. General Fees are 54, 130 per semester. Merit Fees are less than the general fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides fewer fees for students who got a good percentile in 12th and also for students who are of backward classes in the society. Not any scholarships are in aware of. So is it when it comes to loan facilities. Nothing heard of it.
Campus Life
Gender Ratios are pretty equivalent. The presence of both amounts of girls and boys is present. No sorts of parties are availed in this college. Conducting workshops is not a criterion for this college. Different people of different cultures and diversities are present. No racism on that basis. Strictly no sorts of political activities are allowed. Economic status is evidently present as the owner parks a Rolls Royce in his parking lot.
Alumni/Alumna
During the first year of my tenure, the students have experienced bad interactions with seniors. No sort of help was given to us by the higher staff and later put the blame on us for something we didn't do.
Admission
By paying the admission fees and submitting the required details for admission. A contract containing the rules and regulations of the college also had to be signed. I chose B.Com. because it was tended to be more suitable and apt for me.
Faculty
Faculty members are well qualified but some are interested to teach the students while there are some who are energized and have the motive to teach the students. The rest of the members are more concerned about the shoes and beards rather than about teaching.
