Good college for girls

Positive: 1. Feasible fee structure 2. Comfortable college timings Negative: 1. No placements or job opportunities 2. Frequency gap between teachers and students 3. Poor campus life 4. Less emphasis on practical papers 5. Syllabus is often not covered entirely by teachers 6. Ill-behaved staff 7. Classes aren't punctual, always.

The Course Structure is pretty good. The teaching faculty could be better though. The Exams are taken in a scheduled and proper way, following each rule and regulation strictly. There is and Computer Lab but it is not available for Bcom students, which becomes a issue for our practical papers. The machines and technology is very old, not obsolete though. The college timings makes the day pretty chilled out since it's a morning college with a time span of 7:15 to 11:30

This college doesn't provide internships neither is there any placements or job opportunities. This is a problem faced by students when compared to other colleges providing Bcom course along with job opportunites.

There are some events that are celebrated including: 1. Freshers 2. Recitation Competition 3. Dance Competition 4. Singing Competition 5. Farewell 6. Picnic(usually in the final year) 7. Annual prize distribution These events aren't hugely held. Sometimes, the information about events are not properly conveyed to students, hence leading to less participations.

The fee structure is feasible. For admission, they roughly take 7000 to 8000. For each sem, students need to pay a rough amount under 1000 bucks, which vary each semester. Comparing the fee structure with other colleges, this one is a practical choice and also advantegeous for middle class families. Some students, if eligible gets scholarship from Govt for courses in this college.

There's a scholarship available for single child(girl), having less family income. This is provided by the Govt. I was not eligible for this, since my age did not qualify. I don't have information about the loan facility.

There's NCC for interested students. Computer labs are not available for Bcom students and even if the assigned teacher takes special permission for a stipulated time, not each student gets a chance to sit infront of a moniter.

There's student union and they keep bringing up new events and competitions but they lack managing skills, including student participation of conveying of information. The student union has nothing to do with acaedic cooperation and I think that is how it should be.

I enrolled my name thourough college website as soon as I passed my 12th from ISC Board. The college declared a merit list and I was listed. I met the faculty in person for my admission and I was admitted. There weren't any interview or entrance exam required for admission in this college.

The teachers are interested to teach their students and they are qualified as well but they lack teaching skills and their behaviour towards weak students is not very impressive. They try their best, no doubt but the frequency seems not to match with the students.
