Remarks
Not many complains about the campus or the infrastructure. The campus is calm and the air is fresh. There are a lot of shops scattered around the campus. Bicycle stands are placed all around the campus for easy parking. But they dont have many holidays during the semester, even though it rains/flood.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a bit weird to follow but is manageable easily. We have labs every week with proper report submission and Viva. Frequent tests are conducted which are included in calculating the GPA. We have small tests every 3 weeks, bigger tests in Feb and march and the end-sem for 50% of the marks.
Placement Experience
The job opportunities and placements are available everytime except for there is any event or exams. I don't have much idea regarding placements but the companies are always available for placements and job opportunities.
College Events
We have an event called TechTatva in the 1st week of October. In this event, all the clubs will conduct one or 2 workshops which we, who are not in the club, can join and learn about the topic they setup for. The other is called Revels which is related to the culture.
Fee Structure And Facilities
A little bit towards the expensive side. The mess is a bit of a scam because they charge even you don't eat. They take an extra 10,000/- for incidental and is transferred over to the next year. The investment is good in the college fees. But the hostel fees is a bit Meh
Fees and Financial Aid
A certain percent of fees can be decreased itself you get a rank below 1000 in their entrance exam. And all the fees is discounted is you get a rank below 100. Other than that, I don't have much idea regarding scholarship.
Campus Life
Based on the year and course, there will be 2 or 3 labs per week. We also have a sports arena outside the campus. There are fields scattered around the campus. There is a gym near the hostels. Gender ratios near to 1. Not much of the politics are practiced in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
There are 22 hostel blocks for both men and women. Most of them are well maintained by the staff. The hostel rooms are assigned according to the GPA. The hostel fees includes mess fees. Hot water is available 24x7. Every floor has a separate laundry service with dry cleaning options.
Alumni/Alumna
I don't have much idea about alumni. Teachers usually lookup LinkedIn and have a list of their best students in their memory. Their is an actual alumni section in the academic section to deal with those matters.
Admission
There are people I know here, and it is very student friendly. Very strict anti-ragging rules. I have visited the college before applying for the college and it is quiet, surrounded with trees and monitored by patrol members regularly. We get free checkup and general medical needs for free from Manipal's KMC located 5 mins away from the hostels. We have various food courts and messes which serve good food.
Faculty
The faculty is very friendly and help you deal with any academic problem. They are very experienced and are confident in their field of study. They are available anytime either by E- mail or whatsapp. They also help with any kind of research.
