College Review

The college life is the best phase of the student life here we get to learn so many new things and make friends for life time. Shouri Shikshayatan College has given me the best life in these all years as it is the best college in the state with the best infrastructure, Teacher, Environment.

The course curriculum is good as it semester base course, for every semester there are 6 months gap and only 4 subject. So the time given to us is good. Form 1st semester till 5th semester there are mcq papers but honest paper are written and 6th Sem is fully written.

Placements and jobs opportunities are good. Companies like PWC, DELOITTE and more renowned compines come to take the candidates. It also provide internship to the students who are willing to do and also provide the certificate with the same.

Srijan Fest is the main fest of the college it contain inter college compition like Dance, Music, Picture painting, Demo act, Face Painting, Tug of war and lost are there and in evening start performance is the best.

1st year- 42000, 2nd year- 44000, 3rd year- 48000. It's nither feasible nor expensive it's moderate. Earlier there was yearly system but from 2017 semesters system has come into force so, the fee structure has changed and student has to pay the fees semesters wise.

There is scholarship facilities for the student offered by the college to the students of all departments on the bases of ther marks or cgpa obtained in the exam. Student can avail these facility only during the college days.

There are so many extracurricular activities such has active learning day, Durga Puja celebaration, sport days, women days, ilts, lts and many other progeame like intra department competition held. It's help the student to be involved in the programme.

No I have not opted for the hostel so, I have no idea about the rates and facilities. As I live in pg I can say about. Its has shareing rooms like 2seater, 4 seater, It provide ac facilities, foods and laundary. We have to pay advance for 2 months.

The senior of the college are very helpful always support the juniors and help in improving the work. AlumnI are also good as the tell us about the college and experience and also about the placements and it's experience.

I got admission in the college by filling the form online and after that my name came in the merit list. They called me to the college with the documents and Demand Draft for the admission. Then I have to submit the form in the office with my markesheet.

It has the best and experienced faculty. The give us the notes in the class which is easy to learn and remember. They help us in every possible way they can they are so supportive and help us to learn the lessons in the class itself.
