My College

The main positives I find about this institute is the quality of the faculty and facilities it provide for the students. Not to mention the great environment the campus have for the students. The only negative thing I feel is the lack of Infrastructure. It's mainly due to the limitations in area for the campus.

The college is affiliated to Kalam's Technical University. The curriculum and exams are well defined. The university academic calendar make it easy to plan out your course. College is bond to stick to this calendar to complete the course in time. The work schedule is not that hectic and will get enough time to enjoy our college life.

The placement cell in the college is great. The bring in some of the best companies for the students with great packages. Every final year student gets enough chances to get placed before they graduate from the institute. As far as I know my college is not providing any internship. But the students are allowed to do the same outside as a part of their course.

"Sargam Chitram Thalam" is the arts fest for the students to showcase their taste in arts. "Advent" is our technical fest to update with the technology. "Cult a Way" is the college fest that sets a platform for other institutes to compete and showcase in various cultural and technical events. We also have the annual sorts meet for students. Other annual celebrations include the Onam celebration, Chouristmas celebration, Holi celebration and Demo day for final years.

My Mtech course cost me around 13000 Rs annually. This includes the tuition fee exam fee and other special fees. This fee structure is for the students admitted under merit list. Students who got admission under management have to pay 45000 Rs as their fee annually.

For the best of knowledge my college is not providing any scholarship. Students can avail for various scholarship scheme from government. Students sometimes gets financial assistance for their project work.

The campus have a good mix of culture from all over Kerala. Various clubs and their activities keep the campus alive. The sports and arts events an occasional cultural events crates the vibe students love to have. The campus politics is also healthy with an annual election.

No, I am a day scholar. My college don't have its own hostel facility so far. The management have leased out couple of private hostels and runs them for the purpose. These hostels are for girls only. boys usually stay in private hostels nearby. I am not aware about its welfare.

Alumni association is very active and very supportive for any cause of the institute. The seniors are always open and very helpful. They provide great insights to us on all subjects wether it's academic or else.

I got admission to my college for my MTech degree thourough the state merit rank list published based on B.Tech score. I choose Machine Design as it is one of the core subject in Mechanical Engineering. Admission was purely based on merit rank list and there was no interview.

The biggest plus point for this institute is it's faculty. It have a great mix of well experienced and resourceful faculty. The staff here are well qualified to handle their subject. The show a great intend to stay updated and encourage us to do the same.
