No any negative remark. I am very happy that I took admission in this college. I have no regrets taking admission in this college. Afterall they have a nice environment, got a tough competition.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have a total 4 prof exams over a span of 4. 5 years. After that there's a compulsory 1 year internship after that. Well the total number of subjects are 19. In first year, I have to study 3 subjects. In second year, I have to study 4 subjects. In third year, 3 subjects and in final year, I have to study a total of 9 subjects. So I think there needs many changes in curriculum.
Placement Experience
In medical colleges we don't have a system of placements. But they surely provide internship programme. Stipend given is 15000 inr per month. Internship program is of one year. We do get to learn a lot doing internship.
College Events
Every year my college's students organize one medical conference at UG level, one cultural fest and one sports fest. These are one of the greatest fests organized in Gujarat. There's participation of more than 50 colleges thouroughout state and country.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Anual tuition fees is 6000 inr. Hostel fees is 1200 inr. And mess charges are 30000 inr per annum. Other than this there is no any extra fees to be paid by me. So that's very feasible I think. And this is because my college is a government college.
Fees and Financial Aid
No any scholarships are provided by college per se. But we can avail some scholarships via a government scheme called MYSY ( mukhyamantri yuva svavlamban yojana). Under this, a sc/st/obc student can avail scholarships.
Campus Life
Gender ratio in my college is like 60/40 boys/girls. Many extracurricular activities are there in my college. These include drama societies, sport society, community service society, music and dance society etc. And these all are very active and all are doing great job in their own way. Students from all of Gujarat and India take admission in my college. So I've come across quite a great deal of diversity. And also we are very accepting to all of them.
Hostel Facilities
I have opted for hostel and also live in hostel. The hostel is also run by my college. It is located 2 kms away from college. It's built recently like before 4- 5 years. It has a very good environment and building is also well built.
Alumni/Alumna
My college has its own separate alumni room. In that all the records and bio data of alumni students are maintained. Also they are in constant communication with each other. And they also organise regular meet ups. Also my seniors are extremely helpful to us in all way whether it's academic or internal problems.
Admission
There's an entrance exam called NEET- UG. I secured all India rank 7700 and Gujarat state rank 153. Based on this criteria I got admission in MBBS course at BJMC. Well mbbs is a very reputed degree. We also get very high paychecks after graduation. As I got a very high merit I got admission in the most esteemed government medical college of Gujarat, which is BJMC.
Faculty
The faculties are the best available in the state. All the faculties are well qualified and extremely talented. All are passionate about teaching. They are always helpful when we are in need. They always clear our doubts.
