Overall the college is a good place to be for those looking for a nice placement for cs and it branches, and a good rank in GATE OR CAT in other branches as all the coachings are loacted not so far from the college.

The course curriculum is good and covers almost everything necessary for higher studies exam like GATE. But practical implementations are lagging far behind those of the premier colleges of our country. Labs are equipped but still faculties lack knowledge then what will they teach.

Placement is good for cse and IT students as most of the companies visiting the college are IT Companies. One or two companies visit for branches like civil and mechanical but mostly no core companies visit for electronics core.No internship opportunities are provided by college itself. Students have to apply offline.

The events range from AKTU ANNUAL CULTURAL FEST PRAVAH, the alumni meet Convergence that takes place every year, and a sports fest Shauryotsava that is held every year. In our time, an annual cultural fest ENCORE was also organised every year.

Now a days fees has raised to approx 1.5 lakhs per nnum including all hostel and mess charges. Compared to other colleges the fees structure is quite fesible. The hostel facilities are also good. An overall value for money with a tag of best state government college.

Scholarships are provided to all students with low annual income of parents. Dean of students welfare help students in filling forms and ensure that all such students get the scholarship. I didn't avail this scholarship because i got a fee wiaver seat, thourough the merit in UPSEE EXAM.

Labs are properly equipped, and a grand sports complex is being built in the institute with all the top class sports facilities and is expected to be ready next year itself. Different clubs are there for dramatics, dance and music.

An alumni meet is organised every year and a huge alumni network is there with a facebook group of all the students and alumnis. Alumnis are always helpful and supportive and help students by providing many opportunities and scholarships.

The entrance exam UPSEE that is held every year is the only way to get admission in this college. Currently it is the topmost college allotted thourough this exam. The college ranking is far better than other AKTU colleges.

Faculties are qualified but they are not much interested in tecahing and even if they do, students know that they can get far better knowledge by self study rather than wasting there in the classes. Still faculties are sometimes supportive in final year if most of the students are preparing for higher studies exam.
