Remarks

This college is valuable for money. My course cost around 1. 5K per year because this a government college that's why this college is valuable and the time of admission it cost 3K. The cost is so light here. Being a government college the fees structure is comfortable for all.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Chilled not hard as many of the exams taken by the colleges I find it somewhat hard as per the syllabus it makes a lot of sense as the exams are set according to the courses we choose in the options when we Choose our course.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are not so good in the university. In 2019, out of 40 students only 6- 8 students got placements. The average salaries is about 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were CISCO, technosoft, tech mahindra etc. There is no other internships for other students.

College Events

2.5

College campus its very good campus I like college campus. And a park in the college. Teacher sport for student aagman atharva usma and cultural fest The campus life is quite boring as you can not do anything interesting when on bunks.

Fees and Financial Aid

This college is valuable for money. My course cost around 1. 5K per year because this a government college that's why this college is valuable and the time of admission it cost 3K. The cost is so light here. Being a government college the fees structure is comfortable for all.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is good. The professors are so supportive. The staffs are so helpful. The office works are done fast. There is a ground for playing cricket, badminton, volleyball etc. Every year the annual sports is inaugurated in this group. Thee are also some unions. The location is good. Bus, auto, rickshaw are available from the college gate. The Barasat Junction Railway Station is about 10 minutes walking distance from the college campus.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

The college campus is quite small as compared to other colleges but it campus is ac cooled and equipped with wifi with a good speed. It have lifts but only teachers can use them. The lecture halls have projector and it have big auditoriums.

Alumni/Alumna

The college infrastructure is not much developed. The laboratories are maintained but the equipments are old. This is a government college so the government grant a amount for development, so soon the equipments will change to new. There are thouree auditorium in our college. There is also a ground for sports purpose. The college campus is under Wi- Fi zone. The classrooms are clean and large. The canteen of this college is very good and hygiene

Admission

There is no major admission process just a entrance exam followed by a decent interview with us and also the qualifications are asked for making up the form for the admission and some questions related to exams that you gave before coming to the default college.

Faculty

2.5

I'm studying B. Sc Hons in this college. There are also a lot of way to achieve degree like BA, B. Sc, M. A, M. Sc etc. There are twelve professors in our department. All the professors and the assistants are good, they are so helpful. Every time they inspired us for our success in our life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
