Remarks
University is very good and has a very good system, teaching pattern, event organizations, extracurricular activities, security But there is nobody in this universe that is perfect but our university is good at each at every point that it takes for the wellness of students for which either they have to become strict at some point Or they will give us permission for doing any new work.
Course Curriculum Overview
This university teaches us by using Experiments, Ppt presentations and regular exams like MST, Lab Internal, Seminars etc carry on by time to time. This university gives us industrial knowledge by doing an industrial visit, project work and my experiments were done in the lab.
Placement Experience
University has good placement system which provides us opportunities to show our knowledge and talent in interviews which are organized by our university and the placement companies like Ranbaxy, Apothecaries Clinical research, Roots analysis Pvt Ltd., Cordlife Pvt Ltd etc.
College Events
Different events like Abhivyakti Literary Fest, CU FEST, Science Exhibition, NSS Activities, NCC Activities etc carryon in our university and every student is allowed to take part in these activities. University allows students to Celebrates mailny Diwali, Lohri, Holi etc in their campus with Teachers after the college timing end.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Per Semester for B.Sc. Biotechnology the course fee is 33500rs. And their is additional fees like Examination fees 1500rs., Security 1000rs etc. Hostel fees is approx 40000per Semester. For securing admission we have to pay 10000rs during time of form filling for admission which is then added into Semester fees.
Fees and Financial Aid
I did not opted for any scholarship or Education loan but many students apply for it. Bank provides loan for this University Fees very easily as this is a reputed University. This university provides scholarship for SC/ST Caste students as 90-100% Scholarship with free hostel.
Campus Life
Campus here at Chandigarh university is very good, open and has broad minded People and that's why we can stay here very easily as we all are family here, good friends, teachers and other staff members. Security here is very strict as with independence one should have some restrictions to prevent from any mishap.
Hostel Facilities
In 1st 2 year during my B.Sc. I opted for hostel and than I left hostel and went to PG. Hostel provides Good Rooms to stay with Almirah, study table, chair, balcony and open wifi with a good speed. Food facilities are normal here as their are lot of students and making food in such a large amount degrades food quality buy University has very good Cooks that manages to Make healthy food with good taste that is like our homes.
Alumni/Alumna
Their is an Alma portal made for Alumni by which Teachers and Alumni remain in Touch with each other. Teachers call alumni to visit university for Guest Lectures and to motivate recent students.
Admission
I filled online form for admission in CU, and than me and My Parents went to university and saw the university and the asked students about university and than got admission in university. Mr Rajesh has done my admission procedure in Chandigarh university.
Faculty
Faculty here is very friendly and cooperative. They teaches us every topic in brief detail and creates ppt for short notes and they manages to teach us mainly by use of experimentation done by our own hand. They try to find best method to teach us by either taking us for industrial visit, or by experiments, or by introducing Guest Lectures from a Respectful and knowledgeable person.
