The Lucknow University

The University is one of finest point of study, and also for nuisance also. There are a lot of distraction in the way of study but for the faculty and its infrastructure it just pioneer. The university can be temed as average as its not so bad to be worse nor too good to be best.

I am doing B.A. and semester system is followed thus in a year 2 semester are conducted. Before every semester teachers give us assignment and project work for their respective subjects. This enables us to do research and learn new skills and gain knowledge from our experience of working with project. Thus teacher provide us plenty of things to do research and attain knowledge.

If you are coming here for good placement them i must say you must join any private institutions as its a government college and very less companies come to hire students. If you are a engineering aspirant then you must join any private institutions available in lucknow or the best AKTU. Lucknow University is best for doing Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science. But for Bachelor of Technology, i must say its not worthy of it.

There are n number if events celebrated throughout the year. Our campus also has NCC so the army aspirants get valuable opportunity. The events likeSports day,Teachers Day, Childerns Day,etc. Are celebarated with excitement and joy. Apart from these the lectures of teachers of other universities like BHU are held. The teachers come and enlighten students about their experiences and respective subjects.

The fee for is to be paid per semester through Demand Draft. Means you have to pay it twice a year. The fee paid one time is around 2500 paid twice so it becomes 5000/year. Which is a quite low as compared to private universities

I have no knowledge about the loan facility because 5000 rs a year is a amount which everyone can afford. And about scholarship you have to fill online form which comes in November month every year. You have to fill form and submit one copy in university. Then if you were eligible then scholarship will come your account.

Yes extra curricular activities are also conducted. Like debates,qizes etc are held very often. These are conducted by the Head of Department of respected subject. They choose students who will participate and then the students who perform well go outside to other colleges to participate there.

No, i have not opted fot hostel as my home is not too far from university. In it hostel sevice is available and divided in 3 categories- 1. 2500/month - one separate room 2. 1800/month - room to be shared by 1 companian 3. 1500/month - room shared by 2 companians Food is included in all categories.

The senior help us at different pionts they guide us at every step they act as elder brothers in the campus. The teachers introduced the alumni of their respective subjects. They their thoughts on different points and help us to broaden our v8sion and helpus in a way in which teachers can't.

Lucknow University is the leading university of lucknow. Its renowned for its teaching and discipline. So, i chose to get admission in this university. The admission process is quite simple you have to fill admission form online which comes in mid of April. Then entrance test is conducted within a week or two. In next 15 days the merit list gets available on official site of university you can check your merit by your roll no. The students are called for admission in ascending order of their merit. Thus this is the quite simple admission process.

Each subject has its separate department. The faculty of each subject comprises of learned teachers. The faculty comprises of 4-7 calyx headed by HOD of that department. The teachers hold doctorates degree in their respective department. Some of them are alumina of BHU.
