College review

It is one of the good institutions left which provide some facilities and learning environment in central India. You can also have chances to get placed in tcs but apart from tcs nothing is there. The other department faculties are pathetic. Some teachers treat students in a very ugly manner which is not acceptable.

It is a 4 year engineering cousre divided into 8 semesters. You have to pass all the semesters in order to get a job at last. The curriculum is according to the one set by the rgpv university. The labs are good but not very good. Like other colleges they always force you to attend the college even if you get nothing productive there.

Placements are quite good as compared to other institutions. Tcs always hire more than 200 students each year from the college. But apart from that nothing much is there as no other good company offers recruitment services there. No internships are available.

Apart from the freshers for the first year and farewell for the final semester students a technical event is celebrated every year in the college. Some seminars on different topics are always happening there. Students from all over the city are invited to participate.

As it is a private institution the fee is also quite high. When I was studying my fee was 55000 college fee + 10000 bus fee In 7th and 8th semester you have to pay extra amounts in the name of training and placement which is not so cool. Now a days as I have came to know the fee is around 92000

College doesn't offer any scholarship and all the scholarship you can get is only the one which the government offers to the students belonging to the sc st and obc reservation candidates. Loan facilities are available at the time of admission.

Not much extracurriculars are offered there. The only event is the technical event which offers cultural programs sports and all nothing apart from that. You have to participate on your own if want to do something outside. There is minimal support from the institute.

I haven't opted for hostel facilities but some of my friends were there and they told me that the facilities were pathetic and fee was around 50 to 60000 for such non so good services. And as you know there is ragging culture also in the hostel.

I haven't interacted much with the seniors. As when you are in private college every one is busy in their own world so not much time is there for the others Sometimes some are helpful but many a times the case ia not the same.

I got admitted into this college thourough the pre engineering test. Now one can enter by appearing in the JEE mains exam. After getting thourough the exam one has to appear for the counseling process. After counseling if you have sufficient marks then you will get admission.

Faculty members are well qualified but only a few are genuinely interested in teaching. Some of them are really good at teaching but they are always busy in some other works and those who doesn't know much about the subject are there to teach you.
