Our College

Our college provides the best opportunities for all the students and helps us to grow in every aspect. It teaches how to improve as a person, as a student and as a citizen. It provides a platform for each and every student who is passionate about achieving something.

My course is for 4 years in which we have 8 semesters. In the first year all the students irrespective of their course has the same academic structure in which we have covered basic subjects of all the courses. This helps in understanding what exactly different types of engineers do. With this knowledge we can easily identify which sort of work will be done by the graduates of different courses and how to work in collaboration with them. From 2nd year onwards we will have all core subjects related to the course. We have relative grading for the CGPA. We have a maximum of 3 labs and 6 subjects per semester. These lab sessions improves the practical knowledge and helps to learn many new things. We have 4 different exams per semester in which we have 2 minors, 1 mid and 1 end. We have 1st minor in the first quarter, mid in the second quarter, 2nd minor in the third quarter and end in the final quarter of the semester. We are given enough time to prepare well for a the exams. We are provided with the facilities where all the students interested in performing research or management were also encouraged.

We have the best placement statistics which is increasing every year. Our college even provides internship opportunities for the students in our third year where we can experience the corporate life in advance. I have got an intern from UHG, a global company with stipend of 35000 per month. This is a two months internship. Many other gaint companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Salesforce, Samsung, visa, DEshaw, oracle and others have visited our campus for placement and internship. They provides a stipend ranging from 30000 to 85000 per month during the internship period. And the package is usually high for the placements rabging from 15L to 48L. Many other companies like Bank of America, JPMorgan, Reliance etc comes for mass recruitment too. Overall the placements percentage of our course is always more than 95% from the past 4 years.

We celebrate 3 major fests in our college. We have a technical fest named Technozion, cultural fest named Spring Spree, management fest named Cura. Besides these in our college we also celebrates some minor fests like youth fest, sports fest and many more events which are conducted by the students of different clubs thouroughout the year. For the technical fest we have a record of 4000 other college participants where we have workshops, technical events relates to different courses, paper presentations, guest lectures and many other activities. Our cultural fest is the second largest cultural fest in the entire South India. More than 2000 people from different colleges takes part in this fest. All the students of our college works really hard to make these fests success. We get complete support from the dean and director for conducting these fests in a transparent manner

The tuition fee of our institution is 62, 500 per semester. As it is not feasible for the students with low family income they are provided with the fee remission where they need not pay a single rupee if their family income is less than 1 lakh and 1/3 if the tuition fee it the income is between 2 to 5 lakhs. We have to pay 12000 for hostel per year and 12000 for mess per semester.

Our college provides merit Scholarship for the students who secures top 3 position in their respective courses. The amount will be same as the one which we pay as tuition fee. Our college do not offer any loan policy but students can apply for student loan from the banks suggested by our Institute in person.

Our college has very strict rules against ragging, discrimination against gender, ehnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation. We have many events conduted by various students of different clubs thouroughout the year. In Almost all the events the participation ratio is good. Many workshops for different courses are organised thouroughout the year.

We have hostel where we can have 2 to 4 members in a room depending on the year of study. We are given with good accomodation and provided with all the basic facilities. Our Institute has a plenty of hostels which are sufficient for the students to accomodate so that no one will have to bother about the rentals out here.

We have good alumni connect where we are provided interaction with the seniors from courses. Thier talks and suggestions helps us in a great way to explore the opportunities we have in research, management, higher studies etc. Our way college regularly organises alumni meet sessions for the previous years students in order to make us motivate from their lives.

After intermediate, we need to get a good rank in JEE mains to get admission in our college. Earlier state board marks were also considered along with the JEE mains marks to calculate the rank. But now they have removed state board marks for calculating the ranks. We can choose various number of colleges like different NITs or IIITs depending on the rank we get. The admission process is done by JOSAA, a central government branch in which we have to fill the preferences of the colleges we want to get into. Depending on the rank we will be allocated to some college mentioned the preference list. This process has 6 to 7 rounds in which whenever we want to freeze the college we can do it. If we donot freeze the options we will have an opportunity of getting into some college which is more preferred in our list than the one we get at present. I have choosen computer science branch in NIT warangal among all the other choices i have as it is one of the best colleges for this course. We have many other branches too. Among all those branches I preferred computer science and engineering because it is one of the most popular and interesting subject where we can make most of the impossible things possible by programming.

We are provided with one of the best faculties in our country. Most of our lectures have doctorates from our country's prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs. They always try to motivate us to perform projects and research in the areas we have are interested in. We have good communication with them and all the students get an equal opportunity to clear their doubts regarding subjects, placements, research, higher studies and everything. Our faculty inspires us by telling the success stories of our alumni students. They even provides a platform where we can interact with the alumni students whenever it is possible.
