Review for SSN college of Engineering

Positives were large which are placements, hostel life, teaching, Infrastructure and extracurricular activities and social life. Openly speaking, food was only drawback of our College. Breakfast and lunch was good but dinner was not upto the mark during our batch.

Course structure was inherited from Anna University and which was good and in labs they usually very strict in the sense they gave very innovative challenges to perform rather than normal experiments. So go for this college if you wanna study with real time scenarios.

When it comes to placement our College is good in that. But they will mostly call software companies when compared to core industries. The number of companies and packages was good. Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, L&T and Capgemini were the usually visited companies for every year. Dream companies like Amazon, Dell, Thoughtworks were also visited in our batch.

Technical, Cultural, Management Festivals were celebrated grantly during our batch and our Your College Holds a Big name in that because they will mostly invite cine industry people and famous bands for our cultural events.

It is decided by our University which is Anna University Which includes exam fees, tuition fees and library fees. Fees structure was moderate during our batch but now fees structure is slightly increased.

Every year they will conduct program to distribute scholarship to students for those who were excellence in academics, sports and cultural programs. Amount of scholarship is very high which is approximately 30 thousand rupees to 50 thousand rupees.

Diversity is good in our College and Every year they will conduct program to distribute scholarship to students for those who were excellence in sports. There is no partiality in Student Diversity And Tolerance With Regards To Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics And Economic Status.

Hostel was very good. Usually they provide full freedom for students to lead their career growth instead of just conducting dump tests for every day. Openly speaking, food was only drawback of our College.

There is special website to connect with our senior students and Every year they will conduct program to interact with senior students whom were excellence in career. In this program they will deliver speech which includes details about their company selection process and latest technologies.

Thourough counseling process have selected my college. They will also have management quota but for that also they will select candidates based on their merit only. For management quota they don't consider recommendation which was usually come from political parties.

Usually they recruit faculties from IIT. They will consider other University people but they had to be a gold medal candidate. So absolutely knowledge of faculties will be excellent and they were more friendly.
