Remarks
There are tons of extracurricular activities present here. From sports to arts, everything is here. There's nothing only for boys or girls, every event is equally arranged for active participation of all students. And I feel a negativity about the study hours which is almost 10 hours.
Course Curriculum Overview
Core courses in the MBA programme will help students grasp theory and business fundamentals, building a firm bedrock of understanding in subjects such as Industry, Accounting and Finance, Organisational Behaviour, Management, Marketing, Business Analytics and Business Law. Our college is affiliated under KTU and for MBA there is 6 Trimester with in two years of course.
Placement Experience
MBAs in IT obtain jobs titles such as project manager, business development executive/manager, product manager, marketing manager, analytics manager, system manager, data processing manager, business analyst, and IT manager/consultant. And they are providing summer internship projects for their students
College Events
Nakshathoura national techno cultural fest, glitzbits fest, simthesis national level management fest. Sim carnival, simgaala, the National Level Management fest of Saintgits Institute of Management, Kottayam provides an interactive platform for future managers to showcase their talents and abilities in a highly competitive environment. Simthesis has been well recieved by the management,coperative world and student community.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total tution fee is 4,50,000(as of 2018) and in addition to that 75000 rupees for hostel fee and then KTU registration fee and exam fees. The fee was not expensive. The fee of this course was had semester fee ranging 110000 to 115000 rs which is affordable for students that come for courses here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes the College is giving amny scholarship to the students.Many scholarship programs are offered by college.and they are giving loan facilities loan paperwork.etc are giving.to the students. If we are getting scholarship then the fees we have to pay will be deducted
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostel for (Men's) Saintgits College of Engineering and 2 hostel for Womens. Out of four hostel for men one is international hostel and other 3 all are about tall buildings with good infrastructure.and a good Mess also
Alumni/Alumna
The college officials had already conducted free alumni interactions in order to increase the students knowledge and practical skills. The alumni who talked, was so friendly and they interacted well with other students.
Admission
First of all 2 rounds of interview was there 2nd round interview with the Dean of that institution. In between the first and second interview there was an aptitude test and min marks to pass was 60%. Tell me about yourself. Why have you decided to apply to business school?. Why does this MBA program appeal to you?. There are so many qualified applicants. What are your short and long-term goals?. How will you contribute to our campus?. What is your biggest strength? These were the possible questions to be asked in the interview
Faculty
Highly qualified and well know experience in corporate world. Average experience is 8 years. They continues to generate new cases, conduct various programmes at different levels like post graduate or doctorate. They train around thousand manager and administrators. Most of the faculty members have PhD’s from prominent management colleges or institutes. Apart from this faculty also involves in research and author books at an international level in their expertise fields.
