Remarks

It is a win situation if you get an admission in this college. There is all that is positive and nothing that is negative. You get to make a lot of friends and the experience is just amazing. You get to cherish a lot of moment and make a lot of memories.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The cousre structure is well planned and student friendly. You get to learn all that is required in the required time and then there are regular assessments in the clinical subjects also. The exams and practicals are carefully spaced that it doesnt get hectic for the students.

Placement Experience

5

There is nothing like a placement or a job opportunity after a medical school. Yes the college provides an internship programme which happens after the final professional exams for the course of 1 year. Students get to learn a lot in their postings in various departments. Stipend is 23, 500 per month.

College Events

5

There are a lot of technical, cultural and festive events that take place in the college round the year. Technical- a lot of conferences and symposiums on various live issues. Sociocultural- the annual fest, PULSE is the largest medical college fest in entire Asia. Festivals- all the festivals are celebrated by proper enthusiasm.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is the last thing to worry about if you get an admission in AIIMS. You pay all the fee for the entire course as well as hostel accomodation at the time of admission itself which is a mere 5000/- in total that includes everything except food.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed any scholarship or any loan facility provided by my college and nor do I know much about one. But I have a vague idea about some loan facility that is given to purchase books and the amount is then deducted from the internship stioend.

Campus Life

5

There are many extracurricular activities in the college. There are various societies such as music society, literature society, scientific society, sports society etc. On gender ratios, boys are more in the ratio of about 4:1. The students are from all the parts of India.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

In the hostels you get single rooms and not the sharing ones. All the students get the room on the day of admission and no one is left out. The room is 12feet by 8feet. There is a common lav complex for the entire wing.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors in the college are very helpful and always show up at the time of need, be it exam or study related or be it any health or mental health issue. There is an Alumini network by the name of 'THE AIIMSONIANS' which organises many events like the picnics and dinners.

Admission

The admission process include entrance exam followed by councelling and admission. I chose this college because obviously it is the best college in India for medical education and research as well as best facility for treating sick people.

Faculty

5

As AIIMS, New Delhi is an apex institute, the faculty is also the most competent and well qualified. They are thorough as well as an expert in their field. They are the masters in teaching as well as treating the patients properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
