Asutosh College is one of the best college in Kolkata where there are all things provided with an good atmosphere of friends and studies also there are co curricular activities held so basically it's a college in which people must take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course curriculum has made our studies easier and better understandable there is pressure in studies but things has become alot easier. The exams are held in a specific time period of time within a duration of 4months so the days are sometimes hectic and somedays are chilled.
Placement Experience
Being a student of first year I don't know about the placements but all I know is there are various companies which provides placement on an interview basis and all the students get the opportunity and are provided with jobs.
College Events
Saraswati Puja, Holi, diwali, and many other festivals are celebrated there are certain fest and and sports event that are being held in the college there are certain exhibitions also held and all of them are quite big and every student enjoy themselves.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible being a government college the fees structure is not expensive annual fees of my course is 6000 which is quiet low and affordable college takes the fee of one whole year so it doesn't creates any problem.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are certain scholarship for students like kanyashouree is one of the leading providing girls with an average result of 75% in 12th grade with a fixed amount of money for their further studies so the poor family don't have to struggle and the students with capabilities can study further.
Campus Life
There are different sports like cricket, football, carrom, chess, badminton, and different sports held and regarding to these sports there are various sports events like Asutosh soccer league and Asutosh premier league held in the college and also the college is provided with various labs.
Alumni/Alumna
We got probably the best seniors they are helpful and friendly they help us with our problems and also studies and their behaviour is also too friendly so if we have any problem we feel free to tell our seniors.
Admission
I am studying Sociolgy Hons in Asutosh College I took this course to understand our society in a better way. With my results my name came in the merit list of the college and being a top college in West Bengal I took admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty of Asutosh College is very good the professors take the classes regularly providing us with every help they can and the teachers and the faculty is providing great support to each and every courses.
