Remarks
Overall review is this College is pretty good. except that there's lot of pressure and stress on students regrading tests and quizes. But the faculty the infrastructure and the teaching is great. I'm very happy to be a part of this college
Course Curriculum Overview
There is great research and development going on in this college. Course structure is great. They cover all the syllabus. Exams are labs are very frequent. There is a tight schedule for everything. There are expert lectures. Experiential learning and self study also. Our college life is pretty hectic. It's all about studies and nothing else. You can't afford time for extra curricular activities.
Placement Experience
For my branch there is not much placement. most of the core branch students goes for non core companies.IT sector has lot of placement. Many companies like Google Facebook and Wipro visits here often to recruit students
College Events
Our annual fest called 8th mile is there on Feb every year and it's great and many other festivals and days like ethnic day is celebrated in our college and lot of students participate in these events and they are great
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's pretty expensive for KCET student's it's 70000 and for COMEDK it's 150000. And hostel is 100000 for both. It's is one of the costliest college in Bangalore but for the exposure and education it's great
Fees and Financial Aid
I get scholarship directly thourough Government of India and not thourough college but college gives scholarship for minorities and backward classes depending upon their family income. So it's pretty great
Campus Life
There are a lot of technical and non technical clubs of all interests like painting singing acting and research clubs like Antariksh and Athwa racing. Gender ratio is 2 Boys per 1 girl. Not much parties are there in college except for fests. The best thing is you can find students from all over the country here. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is good. Very well maintained. Mess food is not so good. But the other facilities like gym library and other things are there. For 1st year it's 3 person per room for 2nd and 3rd year it's 2 persons per room and 4th year and Masters students it's 1 person per room
Alumni/Alumna
I am not in contact with Alumni Association but I've heard they put regular meetings to increase awareness. There is a separate department for placement to get in contact with alumni and companies. I am in 2nd year so in future I'll be looking into some of the alumni and will get to know things from them
Admission
I got admission thourough scholarship scheme for Jammu and Kashmir students but there are many other processes like COMEDK entrance for other states students and KCET entrance for state students. I'm a civil engineering student
Faculty
Faculty is very well qualified with great experience in their respective fields. They follow tight schedule to cover syllabus is time. They are supportive. They know what they are teaching and pretty good at it.
