Course Curriculum Overview
In poornima college of Engineering, there is a tutor system followed by every faculty and student. Every class is appointed a tutor. A tutor is a faculty which helps the students with their studies as well as other problems. They also guide the students. Also, many extracurricular clubs are there to improve interpersonal skills.
Placement Experience
The placements are good. Many mnc also came to college for hiring students. The package of the company ranges from 12 lacs per annum to 1 lacs per annum.
College Events
1. Annual cultural fest ( Aarohan ) - this fest is an inter-college fest. All colleges of Jaipur are invites to this event. 2. Annual technical fest ( Aadhar ) - This is an intra college fest organized by students of 1st year, 2nd year, and 3rd year for the students of 1st year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees are a little bit expensive. Extra money is taken by the college for books and uniforms which are hardly used by the students. Other expenses are excluded from the college fees. So totally the fees are a little bit expensive. Also, the facilities provided are fewer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship is given in the reap form itself. And that is based on the marks of PCM in the 12th board's exam.
Campus Life
Campus life is fun. The gender ratio is also good. No gender discrimination-related problems are faced in the college. There are various clubs and societies both technical and non-technical for the college. Students go in outside college for participating. Also, the college organizes an Annual cultural fest every year.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, I am a hosteller. Hostel facilities are also good. Food is much better than other colleges. As I am a girl so there is great security for girls in the girl's hostel. Also, a hostel fest is organized every year.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a separate alumni association which deals with all the work related to alumni. Students are responsible for running that association. So there is a great network between students and Alumni.
Admission
I was very sure from the starting that I want to go for engineering. So I decided to choose a college in Jaipur for the same. I visited every college and I found poornima the best one. So, I came to this College. To get admission to my college, I had filled the form of REAP.
Faculty
There are 6 lectures per day for 6 days a week. Only 4th-year students have college for 5 days a week. Labs and tutes are also included. The college is in collaboration with IBM. So there is an IBM lab that has an exam. The students who will clear the exam got a certificate from IBM.
