There's nothing that bad regarding the college as the infrastructure is well and good as I said earlier and coming to placements it depends on our talent to get placed in a reputed company. College tries hard to get good companys to the campus interviews. But core companys for civil and mechanical are less when compared to that of IT and C.Sc branch.

Well i got this college through EAMCET. My rank was 13230 the thing is basically VNR is very good college even the placements track record is good this made me to take civil engineering in this college just see the college infrastructure rather then googling out this is what I suggest.

We in civil department has 4 doctorates with a faculty of about 47 years experience in structural analysis subject he is the backbone to our department even they provide funds from TEQUIP for further assistance in the projects if Needed. They also encourage departmental projects if we students are interested i have done 3 mini projects till now. We have EDC CELL ( ENTREPRENEUR DEVELOPMENT CELL) which provides students to put up their skills in becoming entrepreneurs.

They basically provide internships of their own choice but we can also get them on our own anywhere but you need to provide a certificate of internship for a period of one month.

To be frank it's bit difficult to get placed in the core companies as they recruitment is low but almost all the eligible students will get placed in IT companys if they cross the eligibility criteria CAPGEMINI and NTT DATA offers 3 lakh per annum DELOITTE offers 6.6 per annum and TCS offers 3.3.

CONVERGENCE is the national level technical symposium whereas SINTILLASHANZ is the cultural fest organised in the college apart from these we have departmental fests on their respective orientation day students from about 50-60 colleges attend the technical fest and there's a stunning prize money of 1 lakh Overall.

We get only from government but not from college but I don't get any kind of scholarship are loans.

The gender ratio varies from department to department obviously the number of girls in mechanical are not equal to the number of girls in C.SC or IT it's universal fact we do celebrate prograames in college on auspicious days like teacher's day, Engineer's day both national and international workshops are conducted accordingly in the college many students chapters provide opportunities for the students to put up their talent in various aspects we do conduct ETHNIC DAY NO DISCRIMINATION is allowed or encouraged in the campus but ragging is done in limits to interact with the freshers.

Boys and girls hostels are separated with a large distance and the places are different for juniors and seniors the hostel fee varies from 80 k to 90k. I can assure that the food is well and good when compared to the private hostels depending in the size of the room number of members are decided.

Well our alumni do visit out college during our placements to boost us I'm proud to say that one of out alumni was in the interview panel when I attended an interview in our campus they share their valuable experience with us that so we don't put up a wrong step in our future carrier.
