The overall college is ok but the thing is that the upper level management is a serious failure which puts this college into bad light. But anyways it is an ok college for studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our degree is a 3 year course divided in 6 semesters. Each semester consists of mid term and final exams. The mid term exams only covers theory part but the final exams consist of practical as well as theory part. Curriculum is very vast and gives us a thorough knowledge of the industry. This helps us to secure good placements. There are many industrial visits organized for students to get knowledge.
Placement Experience
Many renowned companies such as Oberois, Taj, ITC, sheraton, Leela, Raas, McDonald's, have visited our campus and provided satisfactory placements for the students. Almost 70-80% of students get placed every year in such brands.
College Events
Many events such as food feasts, sports day, musical nights, alumini meet are conducted on a very large scale in which many students participate in order to make the events successful. Apart from these district level inter college sports meet is also held in which our students have earned laurels.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The average fee for 3 year course is ?500000 for academics and college admission apart from these food and lodging costs extra. Payment methods are online or by demand draft. The college provides transperency in fee breakdown. The costs for hostel and food is 24000 per semester. Ie 6 months.

No, although I have not availed scholorship. There are options of scholorships and sponsorships by the college management.
Campus Life
Campus life is full of diversity from students all over the country. As it is a co ed institute. The girls and boys study together here with a ratio of 5:1. There is absolutely no discrimination in the college as to cast, sex or economic status of the student.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are of good quality. The rooms are shared by 2-3 students for boys with attached bathouroom, toilet facilities with furniture. The food in the mess is of poor quality which is a serious drawback on the student's health.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors and the alumini of the college are very helpful which help you in every way possible at every phase of your course. Hence they are helpful in every way possible.
Admission
Hotel management is a very vast course which offers multiple careers all over service industry. IHM silvassa is a college that has good study environment, discipline, good teaching staff etc. Joint entrance exam (JEE) is held in April every year for all over India. According to rank college is alloted.
Faculty
There are almost 5 lecturers for core subjects as well as assistant lecturers and teaching associates. The main areas of expertise are front office, food and beverage services, kitchen and housekeeping. Average experience of each lecturer is 15-25 years in the industry with average age of 35 - 42 years. Each of our faculties have relevant certifications of industrial trainings and experiences.
