The core structure is one of the best in the country because it ha one of the highest credit score plus a good exposure for research even at bachelors level. The course here we get to learn not only our subject but language or even coding and public policy human rights. It gives us the platform for leadership building and explore different subjects so when we give union exam we don’t face difficulties.

Placement is kinda like depending on the department like management and architecture department get better placement but for us life science the opportunity is a bit slim but there is a good chance but competitive for good companies.

Musical day, drama and dance club almost all the department has their own event but once a year we have a good scientific events and conferences. every now and then there are events depending upon your interest you attend them we get good talk speakers from top scientists from America or from central government servant.

Fee structure it’s cheapest we pay only at the most 5000 per semester which includes hostel fee as well. 12000 for advance so approximately we pay around 17 thousand per semester which covers everything no additional payment. There is a transparency in the fee breakdown.

There are scholarships available given by the central government but you have to apply and get it approved by the administration.

Gender ratio is quite balanced and people from all over India come and study here but majority are from the north and from the state it self all most all the major sport facilities are available and gym too a wide range of diversity. Being a central government institute no form of political or religious activity is allowed inside the campus.

Yes, we get shared room with a person two person in a room. There are no pg or rental inside the campus it’s a centralised campus so we get everything inside and toilets on every cot or the building is massive and special room for international students.

Most of the passed out seniors are pursuing doctoral degree abroad and they are really helpful in my research and encourage me to study abroad too.

Entrance merit basis. I gave the exam CUCET which is a central exam for all the central universities in India with different core courses I enrolled myself in integrated masters in microbiology for five years. They have various departments depending upon the university.

Here especially in my department all the faculty have a foreign experience they have studied and worked abroad so they vary from all over the world with experience all over so we get to learn a lot from them. Their exposure to the top universities also encourage us to pursue it.
